John Abraham Team Up With Dinesh Vijan For Action Thriller 'Tehran'
Mumbai, February 22 - Bollywood star John Abraham has teamed up with Dinesh Vijan of Maddock Films for his next movie, titled "Tehran". Inspired by true events, the action thriller will be directed by Arun Gopalan and produced by Dinesh Vijan, Shobhna Yadav, and Sandeep Leyzell under the banners of Maddock Films and Bake My Cake. It is written by Ritesh Shah and Ashish P Verma.
John Abraham took to Twitter and shared the first look poster of the film. While he didn't share many details about the project, going by the poster, it looks like the movie will be based in Tehran, the capital of Iran. The movie has also been announced to release on 26 January 2023 in theaters, on which, it will compete with Hrithik Roshan's "Fighter", and Ranbir Kapoor-Shraddha Kapoor's untitled rom-com.

John Abraham was last seen in the sequel to "Satyameva Jayate". He played a triple role in the movie that couldn't do much at the box office. Going forward, John has a series of films lined up. His immediate next is "Attack", which will be released on April 1st, 2022. He will also be seen playing a pivotal role in Shah Rukh Khan's comeback film Pathan. Apart from Pathan, John also has "Ek Villain Returns" with Arjun Kapoor, Disha Patani, and Tara Sutaria.
