John Abraham's 'The Diplomat' Gets A Release Date
The movie is currently in production and now, the makers have locked the release date. On Saturday, the makers took to social media to announce that "The Diplomat" will be hitting worldwide theaters on January 11, 2024, during the Sankranthi weekend.
The release date was announced with a poster that reads "A true hero needs no weapon". It is based on a story of an Indian diplomat who attempts to repatriate an Indian girl from Pakistan, where she was presumably subjugated and deceived into marrying against her own wish.
Directed by Shivam Nair & written by Ritesh Shah, "The Diplomat" stars John Abraham, Kumud Mishra, Sharib Hashmi, Sadia Khateeb, and Jagjeet Sandhu, among others in key roles.
