Every state in India has its own governor. Like that Chhattisgarh has its own governor and the governor of Chattisgarh represent his state in front of the president of India. The President of India is appointed the governor for 5 years.
Power of governers
1) Executive powers related to administration, appointments, and removals,
2) Legislative powers related to lawmaking and the state legislature, that is State Legislative Assembly (Vidhan Sabha) or State Legislative Council (Vidhan Parishad),
3) Discretionary powers to be carried out according to the discretion of the governor.
