Mega Blockbuster 'RRR' Wins Major International Awards
Hyderabad, December 6 - With an eye on the Oscars, SS Rajamouli's mega-blockbuster RRR has begun its awards hunt at the international level as the movie continues to spread its magic.



SS Rajamouli has been honored with the Best Director award at the New York Film Critics Circle (NYFCC). He beats the likes of Steven Spielberg, and Darren Aronofsky to bag this major honor. Earlier, "RRR" won Best International Feature Film at the Saturn Awards.



Apart from the aforementioned awards, "RRR" has also won the Best International Feature Film at Atlanta Film Critics Circle, and the latest award goes to "RRR" is the Hollywood Critics Association (HCA) Spotlight Award, which will be given to the Cast and Crew of the movie.



In other big awards, composer M.M. Keeravani grabbed the Best Music Score award in "RRR" at the Los Angeles Film Critics Awards while SS Rajamouli came second in the Best Director's category, falling a little short to "Tár" director Todd Field.



Meanwhile, the "Naatu Naatu" song, which has become the dance number of the year, is the front-runner to score the Oscars 2023 nominations in the Best Original Song category. The Hollywood media is also predicting Best Film and Best Director nominations for "RRR" and SS Rajamouli.



"RRR", produced by DVV Entertainment, stars Jr. NTR, Ram Charan, Alia Bhatt, and Ajay Devgn, among others in key roles. It has grossed over 1135 crores worldwide till now and continues to mint money at the box office.
