Megastar Chiranjeevi's 157th Film, Directed by Anil Ravipudi, Gets Official Title

Hyderabad, August 22 - On the occasion of megastar Chiranjeevi's 70th birthday today, the makers have unveiled the first look and official title of his 157th film. The movie is directed by Anil Ravipudi and produced by Shine Screens and Gold Box Entertainment.



The makers announced that Mega157 has been titled Mana Shankaravaraprasad Garu, and it also stars Nayanthara as the female lead alongside Catherine Tresa. The first look teaser shows Chiranjeevi dominating the screens as he steps out of his car in style, wearing a black suit and smoking a cigarette, with commandos surrounding him.



The glimpse concludes with Chiranjeevi descending steps with a gun in hand and then, in another sequence, walking in slow motion alongside a horse through, smoky hill station. The film promises to showcase the megastar in a vintage avatar, in a fun commercial entertainer.



Though not much is revealed, the film looks lavish in production scale. The makers announced that the movie will be released on Sankranthi 2026, and it will be the superstar's first film since Bhola Shankar (2023) as his Vishwambhara, which was scheduled to release this year, has been postponed to April 2026.



Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi also has a film each with director Bobby and Srikanth Odela.

The producer added that a few songs and some patchwork are yet to be completed as they are expecting to wrap the film by October. He also revealed that director Maruthi has shot raw footage of 4 hours and 30 minutes, and the editing team is working on chopping and editing it down to about 2 hours and 45 minutes. AA22xA6 Update: Baahubali Actress Joins Allu Arjun's Mega Movie With Director Atlee

Hyderabad, August 16 - One of the biggest Indian films in the making is a combination of Telugu superstar Allu Arjun and director Atlee, has a famous addition to its already blockbuster casting, which includes Deepika Padukone, Mrunal Thakur, Rashmika Mandanna, and Janhvi Kapoor. ## According to the latest report by Peepingmoon.com, the makers have roped in South actress Ramya Krishnan, known for her iconic portrayal of Rajamata Sivagami Devi in SS Rajamouli's epic blockbuster Baahubali franchise. She has reportedly been signed on for a prominent role in the action spectacle. ## Set in a parallel universe, AA22xA6 is said to be a high-concept VFX-driven spectacle, to which many national and international artists are attached. To elevate the film's action quotient, Atlee has roped in leading Hollywood stunt choreographers, including Spiro Razatos, who is known for working on Marvel movies and Indian tentpoles like Jawan and War 2. ## The shoot of the film has already commenced in June this year. The filming is currently happening in Mumbai, where Mrunal has reportedly joined Allu Arjun for key action sequences. The movie will be shot throughout the year 2025, as the team has planned a grand theatrical release in late 2025. ## The leading Tamil production house, Sun Pictures is producing this mega-budgeted film which is reportedly carrying the budget of over 600 crores. ## Stay tuned...
