Pan India Star Prabhas Showered Praise On Gopichand's Seetimaarr

Hyderabad, September 13, 2021: Gopichand's sports drama film "Seetimaarr" debuted in theaters on September 10 and surprised everyone by taking the biggest opening after the second covid-19 wave in India. The film, directed by Sampath Nandi, also stars Tamannaa Bhatia as the female lead along with Digangana Suryavanshi, and Bhumika Chawla.

Meanwhile, Pan-India star, Prabhas has showered praise on the film and has called it whistle-worthy. He also praised the Seetimaarr team for releasing the first big film in theaters after the second wave.

"My friend #GopiChand scored a blockbuster with #Seetimaarr. Very happy for him! Kudos to the team for coming forward to release the first big film post the covid 2nd wave, despite the prevailing circumstances", Prabhas wrote in an Instagram post.

Seetimaarr is produced by Srinivasa Chitturi under the banner of Srinivasaa Silver Screen. It was initially scheduled to release in April 2021 but was postponed due to the pandemic. And after theaters reopened post the second wave, it was announced for September 3 and then moved to September 10 to give it a festival release on Ganesh Chaturthi.
