Pawan Kalyan's 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu' Worldwide Pre-Release Theatrical Business Details
Trade expectations are sky-high, with strong anticipation that the film will be a major box office blockbuster. According to T2BLive, the worldwide theatrical business for Hari Hara Veera Mallu has already been locked. In the Telugu states (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana) alone, the film's distribution rights have reportedly been valued at an impressive 103 crores, broken down as follows:
Nizam – 37 crore
Ceded – 16 crore
Uttarandhra (UA) – 12 crore
East – 10 crore
West – 7 crore
Guntur – 9.50 crore
Krishna – 7.50 crore
Nellore – 4.50 crore
Outside Telugu states, the film's theatrical business is valued at approximately 12.50 crores for the Rest of India, while overseas collection is 10 crores. To break even, HHVM needs to score around 175 crores gross collection in Telugu states, while the overall target is 225+ crores gross at the worldwide box office.
This places it significantly above Pawan Kalyan's highest-grossing film to date, Bheemla Nayak, which closed at approximately 160 crore worldwide gross. With such steep recovery targets, HHVM will need positive word of mouth and strong audience traction from day one. However, the film is generating tremendous buzz in trade and fan circles alike, raising hopes for a strong opening weekend.
Depicting the life of fictional legendary outlaw Veera Mallu, the film stars Pawan Kalyan in the titular role, alongside Bobby Deol, Nidhhi Agerwal, Nargis Fakhri, Nora Fatehi and Satyaraj in other prominent roles. It is set in the 17th-century Mughal Empire, where outlaw Veera Mallu is tasked with the job of stealing the Koh-i-Noor diamond from the Mughals. The movie will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Hindi, and Kannada languages.
