Pooja Hegde To Play Female Lead Opposite Salman Khan In 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' Sequel?

Directed by Kabir Khan, the film featured Kareena Kapoor as the female lead and child actress Harshali Malhotra in a prominent role. In 2021, writer V. Vijayendra Prasad revealed that he was writing the sequel of "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" and he would soon be able to complete it.

Salman Khan himself confirmed that he would be returning to the sequel and he revealed that it was titled "Pavan Putra Bhaijaan". Now, according to Bollywood Hungama, Salman has brought Pooja Hegde as the female lead, replacing Kareena Kapoor.

The report says that Pooja Hegde's character details are not known yet whether she will play the same character that Kareena played in the first film. It is also not yet clear who will direct the sequel and when it will start rolling out.

Pooja, meanwhile, will next be seen opposite Salman in "Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan" which will be released on Eid this year.
