Priyanka Chopra's Romantic-Comedy 'Love Again' Gets A Release Date In India
Mumbai, February 14 - Actress Priyanka Chopra's new Hollywood romantic-comedy-drama movie, "Love Again" is getting ready to release in India by Sony Pictures.
The English-language remake of the 2016 German film SMS für Dich, itself based on a novel by Sofie Cramer, also stars Sam Heughan and Celine Dion in prominent roles.
"Love Again", directed by James C. Strouse, will be heating Indian cinemas on May 12, 2023. The movie is produced by Screen Gems, and Thunder Road Pictures with Sony Pictures as the distributing partner globally.
The movie is about a lady, Mira Ray (Priyanka Chopra), dealing with the loss of her fiancé. She sends a series of romantic texts to his old cell phone number... not realizing the number was reassigned to Rob Burns' (Sam Heughan) new work phone.
A journalist, Rob is captivated by the honesty in the beautifully confessional texts. When he's assigned to write a profile of megastar Celine Dion (playing herself in her first film role), he enlists her help in figuring out how to meet Mira in person... and win her heart.
Nick Jonas also features in a cameo role in the film.
