Punjabi Movie 'Laung Laachi 2' Gets A Release Date In Theaters

Chandigarh, March 6 - The Punjabi cinema is on a roll for the last year and producing some crowed pulling movies. One such film is a romantic drama, "Laung Laachi 2", which was announced a couple of months ago.

Amberdeep Singh, who made his acting debut in 2018 with the blockbuster film "Laung Laachi", is preparing to release the sequel. The much-awaited movie was supposed to release in 2021, but due to the covid-19 pandemic, the makers postponed it the following year.

Now, with things easing up, the Neeru Bajwa, Amberdeep Singh, and Ammy Virk-starrer has been announced to release in theaters on August 19, 2022. Ammy Virk took to social media to announce the release date with a poster.

"Laung Laachi" became a big hit upon its release in 2018, not only for the box office, but its music album also became a chartbuster. The title of the film sung by Mannat Noor became the first Indian music video to surpass one billion views on YouTube.

Amberdeep Singh has written and directed the sequel and produced it under his banner Amberdeep Productions in association with Villagers Film Studio, and Neeru Bajwa Entertainment. The movie also stars Amrit Maan, and Nirmal Rishi in key roles.
