Ranveer Singh's 'Dhurandhar' Release Date Revealed
Mumbai, July 6 - Actor Ranveer Singh and "URI" director Aditya Dhar teamed up for the first time for a spy action thriller, tentatively titled Dhurandhar. The movie has been in production since last year, and it won't be exaggerated to say that it is Ranveer's most anticipated movie in the post-COVID-19 world.
First look teaser on Ranveer's birthday



The buzz around the movie is genuinely positive, and to take things a notch higher, the makers are set to drop the first look teaser of the film on the occasion of Ranveer's birthday, on July 6. The teaser is reportedly carrying fantastic inside reports, and everyone associated with the film is excited to see the audience reception.

Shooting details, and potential release date



According to the latest report by Pinkvilla, the shoot of Dhurandhar has around 25 days of shoot left, and the team is expected to call wrap by early September. The post-production work is reportedly going on in tandem as the makers announced the release of the film on December 5, 2025. All the shot portions have already been lined up and edited.



Meanwhile, there were rumours that the movie might also be looking at December 12, since Prabhas-fronted much-awaited Pan India horror-comedy "The Raja Saab" along with Shahid Kapoor's "Romeo", directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, are already slated to hit the screens on the same day. But the makers officially confirmed the December 5th release of Dhurandhar.

Cast and plot details



The official release date of Dhurandhar, which boasts a stellar ensemble, including Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, R Madhavan, Yami Gautam and Arjun Rampal, is expected to be announced with the teaser. The film is produced by Aditya Dhar and Jio Studios.



The film is set in the era of 70s and 80s in India and Pakistan. In the movie, R Madhavan reportedly plays the role of India's current NSA, Ajith Doval, whereas Ranveer Singh plays the part of one of India's first agents, who started undercover operations on the ground.
