Mumbai, June 18 - After making his debut with URI: The Surgical Strike (2019), director Aditya Dhar took more than 5 years to set up his next directorial. He teamed with Ranveer Singh for a spy action thriller, titled Dhurandhar, which also stars Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, and R Madhavan in prominent roles. ## According to the report by Pinkvilla, Dhurandhar is a one-of-its-kind spy thriller, which is set against the backdrop of real-life incidents that took place in the regime of India's National Security Advisor, Ajit Doval. It is set in the era of the 1970s and 1980s in Pakistan when Doval worked as a spy. ## The shoot of the film is going on at a brisk pace, with nearly 75% of the total filming already completed. According to the report by Bollywood Hungama, Akhtar has locked Munjya fame Sharvari Wagh to replace the outgoing actress. ## "Sharvari and one more actress were being considered, but the former has managed to bag the role.
