Rashmika Mandanna Talks About Working On Her First Hindi Movie 'Mission Majnu'

Mumbai, September 1, 2021: South Indian actress Rashmika Mandanna is all excited for his debut Bollywood movie, Mission Majnu. She has been paired opposite Sidharth Malhotra in the movie. Meanwhile, Rashmika has wrapped up the shooting for her portion in Mission Majnu and now waiting for the complete shoot to be wrapped.

Speaking about her debut Hindi movie, the Dear Comrade actress said, "Firsts are always the most special, and Mission Majnu being my first has given me an opportunity to transcend my boundaries and how. My heart feels happy to know that I started my journey in Hindi cinema with this film with these beautiful people".

"In the first narration itself I knew I wanted to be a part of this film because I knew if not, for now, I'd not have done this character again or later on it's one of those roles. It's a now or never kinda character. Mission Majnu has given me so many firsts- from exploring the northern part of India, the culture, the language, the people, the industry, and working with such a wonderful team and the co-actors. I couldn't have asked for more. I love you Team Mission Majnu".

Mission Majnu, directed by Shantanu Bagchi, is inspired by real events in the 1970s. Sidharth Malhotra essays the role of a RAW agent in the film while Rashmika's role has been kept under wrap as of now. It also stars Sharib Hashmi, Parmeet Sethi, Anant Mahadevan, and Kumud Mishra in key roles.

The script of the movie is written by Aseem Arora, Parveez Shaikh, and Sumit Bhatheja while Ronnie Screwvala, Amar Butala, and Garima Mehta have bankrolled the movie under their respective production banners RSVP and Guilty By Association. Apart from Mission Majnu, Rashmika also has another Hindi film Goodbye in her kitty.
