Robert Pattinson's 'The Batman' Special IMAX Preview Screenings Sold Out
Los Angeles, February 10 - The theater owners are in for a treat, despite "Spider-Man: No Way Home" is nearing its theatrical run in North America. "Spider-Man: No Way Home" has done more than what it was anticipated to do before the release, and now, the onus on DC movie, "The Batman" to carry the momentum, and in that regard, the indications are highly positive.
To give the first glimpse of the unpreceded hype for Robert Pattinson's "The Batman", the special preview IMAX screenings of the superhero movie were sold out immediately after Warner Bros. put tickets on sale on Tuesday (Feb. 9) morning in North America, reports Deadline. The IMAX special screening at 350 locations is set to be held on March 1.
The preview is dated so that fans can watch the movie simultaneously with those attending the New York premiere. The Matt Reeves-directed DC movie opens on March 4, with nationwide previews on March 3. It will be the longest "Batman" movie ever with a runtime nearly hitting 3 hours.
Set in his second year of fighting crime, "The Batman" film sees Batman uncover corruption in Gotham City while pursuing the Riddler (Paul Dano), a serial killer who targets Gotham's elite. The movie also stars Zoë Kravitz is playing Catwoman, with Colin Farrell fully transforming himself into the Penguin. Barry Keoghan, Peter Sarsgaard, Amber Sienna, Andy Serkis, Jeffrey Wright, and John Turturro round out the cast.
