SSMB 29: Priyanka Chopra To Join Mahesh Babu In SS Rajamouli's Next?
Mumbai, December 13 - The hugely-anticipated film of director SS Rajamouli with superstar Mahesh Babu is gearing up to go on floors early next year. The pre-production of the film, tentatively called SSMB 29, is ongoing and the makers will officially announce the project soon.



According to the latest report by Filmfare, the makers are in talks with India's global star Priyanka Chopra to come on board to play the female lead. The actress hasn't done an Indian movie since The Sky Is Pink (2019), but SSMB 29 can be her mega comeback to the Indian cinema if the report is true.



While there haven't been any official words from the makers yet, the movie has been making buzz for quite some time with its casting. It is said that Malayalam star Prithviraj Sukumaran will be playing the antagonist role in this mega project Pan India world movie and rumours are that it will also have international actors playing prominent parts.



SSMB 29, which was hyped as a globe-trotting action adventure by SS Rajamouli, is one of the most ambitious films in the making with a rumoured budget of 1000 crores. Award-winning writer, Vijayendra Prasad, who is also SS Rajamouli's father, has written the script.
