'Salaar: Ceasefire' Re-Release Pre-Sales Cross 1+ Crore For The Opening Day

The advance booking for the re-release of the movie was opened on March 13 and it is seeing easily the best response for any re-release title in India. In the 5 days so far, the movie has sold 55K+ tickets on Book My Show for all days. For the opening day alone, it has sold tickets worth 1+ crore which is fantastic.

The response in the pre-sales has been excellent so far and with 3 days left for the re-release, Salaar is expected to emerge as the biggest re-release opener at the Indian box office.

Salaar: Ceasefire though was a box office hit, it performed underwhelming given the high expectations in its original run. The movie, however, reached a wider audience due to digital media, especially on Disney+Hotstar which increased its popularity and the response to its re-release can be attributed to that.

The film is directed by Prashanth Neel and produced by Hombale Films. It stars Prabhas in the title role alongside Prithviraj Sukumaran and Shruti Haasan in prominent roles.
