Salman Khan Confirms 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2' Is In The Works

Mumbai, December 19 - Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has officially confirmed that the sequel to his all-time blockbuster "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" (2015) is in the works.

Salman Khan was invited as a chief guest for SS Rajamouli's "RRR" pre-release event in Mumbai on December 19, where is confirmed the development of the film.

A few months ago, writer Vijayendra Prasad had revealed during an interview that he was planning to crack the story of "Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2" for Salman Khan.

"Bajrangi Bhaijaan" is considered one of the finest films of Salman Khan and confirmation of its sequel from the superstar himself is surely lightened the mood of his fans.

Directed by Kabir Khan, "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" is the 9th highest-grossing Indian film, and 2nd highest for Salman Khan after "Tiger Zinda Hai" (Rs. 433.77 cr), grossing Rs. 432.46 crores at the Indian box office. It stars Kareena Kapoor as a female lead alongside Harshaali Malhotra, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, among others in key roles.
