Salman Khan To Reprise Prithviraj's Role In Lucifer Telugu Remake 'Godfather' Starring Chiranjeevi!

Hyderabad, August 25, 2021: Megastar Chiranjeevi is gearing up to roll out his next Telugu movie "Godfather", which is a remake of the Malayalam movie "Lucifer" starring Mohanlal and Prithviraj Sukumaran. Mohan Raja will be directing Chiranjeevi for the first time in Godfather.

If reports are to be believed, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is all set to play a guest role in 'Godfather'. The actor reportadly has agreed to star in the movie and has reportadly allotted dates for the same. While there is no confirmation yet, Salman might reprise Prithviraj's role and Chiranjeevi will play the lead.

Salman Khan and Chiranjeevi's family share friendship for a long time. When Ram Charan made his debut in Bollywood in the 'Zanjeer' remake, Salman Khan lent full support to Charan and even promoted the film.

Salman Khan's inclusion will create a lot of hype around Godfather and will definitely prove to be a big boost outside Telugu states. Meanwhile, Godfather also stars Nayanthara in the female lead role along with Satyadev and others.

Thaman is composing music for the first time for a Chiranjeevi film and he is very excited. The first song composition is also done. The movie is jointly produced by Megaa Super Good films and Chiranjeevi's Konidela Production Company.
