Salman Khan's Radhe Fails To Impress Audience Despite The Unprecedented Response On OTT
Mumbai, May 14, 2021: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan starrer "Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai" released amid a huge buzz. However, due to the covid-19 pandemic, the movie opted for a hybrid release simultaneously in theaters and on multiple digital platforms via pay-per-view on May 13 in India. Overseas, it still released in theaters.
As expected, a record number of people watched Radhe on ZeePlex and Zee5. The response was Unprecedented that the server of ZeePlex was crashed multiple times due to the heavy traffic, which was fixed later. However, despite the positive response, the big mass entertainer fails to impress the viewers, who declared it among the worst movies of Salman Khan.
Radhe has become the lowest-rated movie on IMDb for Salman Khan. The IMDb rating of Radhe is 1.7 with over 110K users rated the movie till Monday (May 17). Earlier, Saawan... The Love Season (2006) was the lowest-rated movie for the actor with an IMDb rating of 1.9. Meanwhile, the South Korean movie, "The Outlaws", which has inspired Radhe, has a good IMDb rating of 7.2 from nearly 5K votes.
Directed by Prabhu Deva, Radhe also stars Disha Patani, Randeep Hooda, and Jackie Shroff in pivotal roles along with Megha Akash (Hindi debut), Gautam Gulati, Govind Namdev, Arjun Kanungo, and others in supporting roles. It is produced by Salman Khan, Sohail Khan, Atul Agnihotri, and Zee Studios.
