Superstar Pawan Kalyan's 'Jalsa' Re-Release Creates All-Time Record
Hyderabad, August 31 - Telugu superstar Pawan Kalyan's all-time blockbuster Jalsa has created an all-time record ahead of its special screening to celebrate the actor's 51st birthday on September 2.



The movie will be screened on September 1 and 2 worldwide on over 500 shows, which is reportedly the highest number of special shows for any movie in the history of Indian cinema. Such has been the craze for the movie that almost all the shows have been sold out in Telugu states while the same kind of response is being observed overseas as well.



Pawan Kalyan is argubaly one of the biggest superstar Telugu cinema has ever produced. His films have often created havoc at the box office and "Jalsa" has been one of them. Released in 2008, the Trivikram Srinivas-directed action comedy grossed over 28 crores worldwide and is considered a milestone film in Pawan Kalyan's career.



Produced by Allu Aravind under the Geetha Arts banner, "Jalsa" also stars Ileana D'Cruz, Parvati Melton, Kamalinee Mukerji, Mukesh Rishi, and Prakash Raj, among others in key roles. The movie will have its 4K release across Telugu states and overseas.
