Top 10 Biggest Single Days Collection At The Indian Box Office 2023

Mumbai, December 23 - The Indian box office is continuing to see an upward trend in 2023, proving to be one of the best years for the film fraternity. Starting from Shah Rukh Khan's "Pathaan" in January to the latest blockbuster "Salaar" starring Thalapathy Vijay and "Dunki" starring Shah Rukh Khan, the domestic box office hasn't dipped though there have been many films that performed low in between.

The box office in India is almost back to the pre-COVID level in 2023, which witnessed the highest days with the single-day collection. There have been a total of 11 days when overall gross collection topped 100 crores, a record at the domestic box office.

The biggest single-day collection in 2023 at the Indian box office was recorded on August 11, 2023, when Sunny Deol's mega-blockbuster "Gadar 2", and Rajinikanth's "Jailer" made a large contribution to 148 crores gross day. The first 100 crores day of the year came in January when SRK's "Pathaan" was released and shattered many box office records.
