Top 10 Most Anticipated Hollywood Films Of 2023 In North America

Los Angeles, December 21 - The year 2023 is full of big-ticket entertainers and is expected to take the entertainment level a notch higher than the previous years. Digital movie ticket retailer in the U.S., Fandango has unveiled the results of its 2023 Most Anticipated Movies Survey and it has picked 10 movies in the list.

According to Fandango's survey, Marvel Studios/Disney's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is the most anticipated Hollywood film of 2023 in North America. The James Gunn-directed is the end of his GoTG trilogy and the movie is touted to be the most emotional non-Avengers Marvel movie to date.
The survey was done on over 5000 moviegoers, and most of them picked the finale of GoTG as their first choice of 2023 to see in theaters. In another encouraging stat, 84% of ticket-buyers plan to see six or more movies on the big screen in 2023, according to Deadline.

Other results of the annual Fandango survey (via Deadline) show that 99% of moviegoers are excited to see more new movies debuting in theaters. 97% will attend the theater more often in 2023 than in 2022 while 82% claim the moviegoing experience can't be recreated at home and 72% would like to see more movies in IMAX and other premium large-screen formats.

The aforementioned results indicated the fast-growing recovery of the theatrical biz. As reported previously, the global box office has been projected to reach $29 billion (+12% of 2022) in 2023.
