Top Dolla Says He Will Sing Triple H Praises To The High Heavens

On the August 12, 2022 episode of SmackDown, Hit Row made their return where Top Dolla and Ashante "Thee" Adonis with B-Fab in their corner defeated two local competitors. After this they re-introduced themselves as The OG3.

B-Fab was released on November 4, 2021, while Adonis, Dolla, and Scott were released 15 days later as part of a seventh round of layoffs, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, that involved administrative staff, plant and talents of the franchise.

Appearing on Busted Open Radio, Top Dolla explained how their return came about.

It was a really cool process because Hunter...there are a million people Hunter could run back. The list is hundreds of people long that are talented performers that were released in the last five years that are still young and able to do these things. A million people he could bring back, but he called us. That made me feel, not just special, but grateful.

"That's why I will sing his praises to the high heavens. Everyone in the world thinks they know who I am. Everyone in the world thinks I'm hard to work with. People who never worked with me had one conversation with me and felt they could talk down to me like I'm not a 30-year-old man. I told them about themselves and then they get in their buddy's ears like I'm hard to work with. In actuality, I'm not hard to work with, I'm hard to fool. You can't tell me something you're not going to stand on. That's how I was raised."

Paul Heyman Championed Hit Row's Authenticity, Despite Limited WWE TV Time

Top Dolla, formerly of WWE's Hit Row, recently spoke about Paul Heyman's support for the group's unique hip-hop presentation. In an interview with Chris Van Vliet, Dolla revealed Heyman's appreciation for Hit Row's approach, which he saw as more realistic compared to other wrestlers' "kayfabe rap." ## Heyman reportedly advocated for Hit Row's work, texting Dolla with praise for their videos and suggesting their inclusion on shows. Dolla mentioned sending a video for a Christmas show that Heyman believed should open the program. However, such endorsements rarely translated to prominent spots on WWE television. ## Hit Row's talent seemed to be acknowledged behind the scenes, but translating into actual opportunities proved difficult. Dolla pointed out instances where their creative efforts, despite receiving positive feedback, never made it to air. Even during a highly-watched SmackDown taping, the only promoted match was Hit Row's title shot against The Usos, with no recognition for their wider contributions. ## Despite the frustrations, Dolla expressed gratitude for Heyman's unwavering support. He acknowledged that Heyman consistently appreciated their work, even when others remained hesitant to utilize it on television. ## Stay Tuned To Sacnilk...

Report: Top Dolla Dragged For Looking Like A 'Fan Mechanic'

WWE's star Top Dolla has been part of the WWE SmackDown faction Hit Row. The group was released last but was re-signed after the regime change. Regardless, the group returned without their popular leader, Swerve Strickland. ## Nevertheless, their WWE return was inadequately acquired by the fans, and they have been failing to get over despite being babyfaces. It also seems that Jim Cornette isn’t a fan of the grougroup, specifically Top Dolla. ## While taking on Jim Cornette Experience podcast, he was approvingly critical of Top Dolla’s in-ring work, and he also criticized his recent segment on SmackDown where Hit Row were attacked by Legado Del Fantasma. ## As Jim Cornette mentioned: ## "Top Dolla looks like a late 30s fat mechanic that dresses around like a hip hop guy and wallers around in the ring like a beached whale. Apparently, Triple H liked him as a group and brought him back and has tried to push him. And this beatdown was sloppy as sh*t to begin with." ## Concerning the recent attack on Hit Row by Legado Del Fantasma, it seems like the start of a feud between the two groups. One can only expect that this feud will elevate Hit Row's status on the roster. ## To stay updated with all the latest combat sports news, add Sacnilk.com to your Google News feeds and follow us on Twitter.
