Mumbai, January 10 - Two Years ago exactly on this date, Ajay Devgn fronted Tanhaji released and the film re-wrote the history at the box office and emerged as the Biggest Blockbuster in the hugely sustaining career of Ajay Devgn. Tanhaji also became the highest-grossing film of the year making it the first for Ajay Devgn in Highest Grosser of the year club stars.

Tanhaji collected 279.60cr at the box office and remains one of the Biggest Grosser in the industry. The collections of Tanhaji in the Maharashtra circuit were extraordinary as it was 2nd only to another historic Blockbuster Bahubali: The conclusion and remains one of the Biggest ever Blockbuster in the Maharashtra region.

Ajay Devgn in his three-decade-long career has delivered some huge hits like Phool Aur Kaante, Golmaal, and Singham but Tanhaji beat all his previous hits to become the biggest hit of his career. The worldwide collections of the film crossed 350cr which was the first-ever for an Ajay Devgn starrer. The total worldwide collections of Tanhaji were 367crs.

Tanhaji is the Biggest hit of the Bollywood industry for the last 2 years. The magnum opus also starred Kajol and Saif Ali Khan in pivotal roles. The film was directed by Om Raut.
