Vidyut Jammwal's Khuda Haafiz Chapter 2 To Release In Theaters

Mumbai, April 21 - Vidyut Jammwal and Shivaleeka Oberoi's action thriller film, Khuda Haafiz: Chapter II – Agni Pariksha, has set a release date in theaters. The first part of the film was released directly on Disney Plus Hotstar in August 2020 and was a successful outing on the digital platform.

Khuda Haafiz Chapter 1 created a decent buzz and makers thought it will be a good idea to bring its successor to the theaters. Set during the financial crisis of 2007–2008, the film is inspired by true events and follows Sameer Chaudhary, a young man who races against time to rescue his kidnapped wife Nargis from flesh traders.

Chapter 2, which is slated to release on June 17, 2022, in theaters, is expected to be more intense packed with action, that's why it has been named, Agni Pariksha. It is written and directed by Faruk Kabir and produced by Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak under the banner of Panorama Studios in association with Zee Studios and Cinergy.

Vidyut Jammwal took to Twitter and announced the release date of the film with a new poster. "Witness the #AgniPariksha of Sameer & Nargis in #KhudaHaafizChapterllAgniPariksha. Releasing in theatres on June 17, 2022", he wrote.
