Vikram Vedha First Saturday Early Estimates

Mumbai, October 1 - Vikram Vedha which had a below-average first day of 10.58 crores net box office collections has shown growth on the second day though the growth is not at the level which was expected from the film. The film has shown around 15% to 20% growth only when there was an expectation to hit 40-50%.

The growth also looks less due to very low opening day collections, especially for a film which is a mass entertainer starring a major star like Hrithik Roshan. The early estimate collections suggest 12.50-13 crores net.

Vikram Vedha has failed to attract even a decent audience in any circuit or center except for West Bengal where Hrithik Roshan has a better standing as a star. The entire North is silent for Vikram Vedha which is a surprise for a big action film with a popular star cast.

The first two days' collections will take the entire box office collections to over the 23cr net mark which is a low number. The film will get growth on Sunday and single-screen audiences might come in big numbers due to the holiday but since the appreciation of the film is not much, The growth could be limited. The first weekend collections are set to be between 38-40cr and it should hit 40cr to make a decent first-weekend number.
