WWE And UFC Merger Could Lead To Dream Crossover In EA UFC 5

Stamford, 7 September - In late October, EA UFC 5 will be released, marking the first installment in over three years. Notably, the game will feature iconic figures like Mike Tyson, Muhammad Ali, and Fedor Emelianenko.

Fightful, curious about potential crossovers, celebrities, and new additions, reached out to inquire. In the past, we've seen characters like Isaac Frost and Shaquille O'Neal make appearances.

Given the ongoing merger discussions between WWE and UFC, Fightful also explored the possibility of WWE talent making their way into the game. Developers at EA UFC did express their interest in this idea, but they were informed that until the merger is finalized, it's unlikely to be extensively discussed.

It's worth noting that WWE currently holds a licensing agreement with 2K for their video games. While several WWE superstars, including Brock Lesnar, Ronda Rousey, Shayna Baszler, Matt Riddle, and Bobby Lashley, have ventured into the world of UFC in the past, the gaming landscape may see changes in the future.
