Las Vegas, 21 October - On October 20, 2023, at 10 a.m. Eastern Time, ticket sales for the 2024 Royal Rumble kicked off and swiftly set new records in the event's history as the fastest-selling tickets ever.



The 2024 Royal Rumble is scheduled to occur on Saturday, January 27th, 2024, at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida. While the event hasn't revealed any match details or participants yet, the strong ticket sales indicate high anticipation.



Notably, current betting odds for the Men's Royal Rumble favor The Rock, making it an intriguing prospect. The Rock is currently the frontrunner with odds of 5/2 (+250), tied with LA Knight.

San Antonio, February 10, 2023 -Edge and Finn Balor were supposed to do a Hell in a Cell match at Royal Rumble, but Edge’s acting commitments kept him from setting the match up strong enough. ## After a three-month hiatus, Edge made his comeback to WWE at the Royal Rumble on January 28, 2023 at #24 eliminating Bálor and Priest before being eliminated by them after a distraction from Dominik Mysterio. ## While speaking on the latest edition of Wrestling Observer, Dave Meltzer noted that The Rated R Superstar Vs. Finn Balor was initially planned for Royal Rumble in San Antonio, but Edge's acting commitments kept him from setting the match up strong enough. ## “Edge and Balor were to do a Hell in a Cell match at Royal Rumble but Edge’s acting commitments kept him from setting the match up strong enough, so it’s a possibility coming out of this match for Mania.” ## Still, it's a possibility that WWE might want to keep this plan going forward and they can end up placing at WrestleMania this year. However, Owens once again wasn't able to steal the gold, but he did get back his friendship with Sami Zayn who was aligned with The Bloodline for a long time. ## After the match, Reigns attacked Owens. The Usos gave him the 1D as Reigns put his arm around Zayn. The Usos put a chair over Owens’ head and neck as Solo Sikoa gave him a running hip attack. They handcuffed Owens’ hands to the top rope and the Usos repeatedly superkicked Owens. Reigns grabbed a chair and went to hit a helpless (and already dead) Owens but Zayn stepped in his way. Zayn told Reigns he was already the champion and didn’t need to go that far. Reigns instead offered the chair to Zayn. ## Reigns screamed at Zayn to hit Owens. Reigns said he loved Zayn and he was in their family but if he didn’t want to do it, he should “go and do Jackass shit.” Reigns got in Zayn’s face and told him to do it. ## Zayn finally did it. He nailed Reigns in the back with the chair. This got a huge pop but it was quelled after Jimmy superkicked Zayn. Solo and Jimmy beat the crap out of Zayn. ## The crowd chanted for Jey who just watched. The Bloodline encouraged him to join but instead, Jey walked off. The crowd cheered Jey who walked down the aisle, obviously torn up by his decision. Reigns beat the shit out of Zayn with the chair as the crowd booed.
