Mumbai, April 17 - The sequel to Salman Khan and Anil Kapoor's cult comedy No Entry (2005) has been in development for a long time with a new cast featuring Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh and Arjun Kapoor in the lead roles. Anees Bazmee has written the script and will return to direct it. ## According to the latest reports, the makers have locked Tamannaah Bhatia to play one of the female lead roles. The actress has reportedly signed the project and is excited to explore the comedy genre. It is said that she will be seen in a role similar to Bipasha Basu's character from the original movie.## Apart from Tamannah, the makers are in talks with Aditi Rao Hydari about playing another female lead. While her casting hasn’t been officially confirmed yet, reports suggest that if finalised, the actress will bring a unique dynamic to the ensemble. The team has also approached Shraddha Kapoor and Manushi Chhillar, but nothing has been confirmed yet. ## In the sequel, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Arjun Kapoor will be playing double roles along with the actresses, which promises double the chaos and laughter. The shoot of No Entry 2 is expected to kickstart in August this year. Director Anees Bazmee has begun the pre-production work and is excited to take it on the floors. Mumbai, May 15 - Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Netflix series Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar: Season 1 didn't show any improvement in the viewership in its first full week after the underwhelming 5-day opening weekend viewership. ## The period drama show, which started streaming on May 1st, scored 4.5 million views in its opening weekend (April 29 - May 5) which was underwhelming given the massive budget of over 200 crores. With not-so-encouraging reviews and audience reception, the viewership dipped in the second week.## In the week of May 6 - May 12, Heeramandi scored 4 million views, pushing its total viewership to 8.5 million views and 62.3 million viewing hours in 12 days. The show, however, continued to remain the second most-watched non-English series on Netflix for the second week in a row. ## The series is trending in the top 10 in 32 countries in its second week. It is currently the number-one show in India, along with UAE, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, Oman, Pakistan, Bahrain, Morocco, Mauritius, Maldives, Pakistan, Qatar, Kuwait, and Bangladesh. ## The series is about the lives of tawaifs in the red-light district of Heera Mandi in Lahore during the Indian independence movement against the British Raj. Mumbai, May 8 - Netflix may have to wait a bit longer to score a breakout global success from India as its ambitious period drama series Heeramandi - The Diamond Bazaar, created by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, failed to make an impact in its opening weekend. ## Made on a budget of over 200 crores, Heeramandi was supposed to be the next big thing for Netflix but it could only manage to score 4.5 million worldwide views and 33 million viewing hours over the 5-day opening weekend. It is among the poorest viewership for Netflix India for the original shows. ## Though the series debuted at number 2 worldwide in the non-English category on Netflix, the critical and audience reception is below average for the show which might make it difficult for it to rebound in the coming weeks.## Despite Netflix's continued efforts to woo Indian audiences, there is not a single show or movie in the streamer's top 10 list, and now Heeramandi is also falling flat. Director Brinda Reveals Why She Picked 'Hey Sinamika' Title For Dulqeer Salmaan's Film

Chennai, February 15 - National Award-winning South Indian choreographer, Brinda, who is making her directorial debut with upcoming Tamil romantic-comedy, "Hey Sinamika", has revealed why she picked this title for her directorial debut. ## "Hey Sinamika", starring Dulquer Salmaan, Kajal Aggarwal, and Aditi Rao Hydari in the lead roles, is scheduled to release in theaters on March 3. Brinda, who considers filmmaker Mani Ratnam her guru, had choreographed a song titled 'Aye Sinamika' for his film 'OK Kanmani'.## Fortunately, the director says that by a strange stroke of coincidence, the word 'Sinamika' also means 'angry girls', and that fits perfectly with the film's plotline. Without any second thoughts, director Brinda decided that this was going to be her film's title and locked it.## Elaborating further, she says, "I choreographed one of Mani sir's songs 'Aye Sinamika' in the past and that too featured Dulquer. I really liked the title and when I told Mani, sir, about it, he laughingly said, 'So, now you are taking the title from one of my films?' Chennai, Jan 14 (IANS) Actor Dulquer Salmaan, who has sung the song 'Achammillai' for his upcoming Tamil film 'Hey Sinamika', is believed to have recorded the energetic rap number in a matter of just an hour and a half.## Before singing the song, Dulquer got his Tamil pronunciation right with lyricist Madhan Karky, post which he was ready for the recording.## Talking about the recording, debutant director Brinda Master said: "I was clear from the beginning that I wanted Dulquer to sing this song. But our music composer Govind Vasantha and I were also a bit apprehensive because Dulquer, though he is a good singer, has never sung in Tamil before and the lyrics are a bit tough and the pace of the song is very fast.## "But when we suggested to Dulquer that he should sing this song, he agreed readily. The song required a swag and attitude, which only professional rappers can exude, but Dulquer managed to do so with ease. Aditi Rao Hydari To Feature Alongside Vijay Sethupathi In Zee Studios' Pan-India Silent Film 'Gandhi Talks'?

Mumbai, August 14, 2021: Earlier in January this year, Tamil actor Vijay Sethupathi announced that he be starring in a silent feature film, Gandhi Talks. He teamed up with Marathi filmmaker Kishor Pandurang Belekar, who's known for directing award-winning theatre plays and films like Sa Sasucha (2010) and Yeda (2013). ## Now, the latest development is that Padmavat actress Aditi Rao Hydari has reportadly been cast to play the leading lady in this ambitious venture. The film is said to be a dark comedy with elements from Mahatma Gandhi's principles as the backdrop. It depicts the harsh realities of today's times and how Gandhi has become a prime witness of everything that he stood against. ## Gandhi Talks will be produced by Zee Studios in association with Movie Mill Entertainment. The film marks Sethupathi and Hydari's second collaboration after Mani Ratnam's critically acclaimed 2018 gangster drama, Chekka Chivantha Vaanam, which also starred Silambarasan, Arvind Swami, Arun Vijay, Jyothika, Aditi Rao Hydari, and Aishwarya Rajesh, among others in prominant roles. ## The Oscar winner A.R. Rahman will be composing the background score for the film. It is a Pan-India film that will release in six languages including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Malayalam, and Kannada. Gandhi Talks is the first multi-lingual silent feature film in 34 years. Kamal Haasan's career-defining 1987 black comedy, Pushpak, was the last noteworthy dialogue-free film to be released in various languages across India. ## It is reported that director Kishor Belekar has spent 19 years on the script of the film, which is finally set to take off.
