Hyderabad, July 4 - Telugu superstar Pawan Kalyan's historical action drama Heri Hara Veera Mallu is hitting the big screen on July 24 this year. The trailer for the same was launched on July 3rd amid huge anticipation, and it didn't disappoint the fans. ## Directed by Krish Jagarlamudi and A. M. Jyothi Krishna, the Hari Hara Verra Mallu trailer has been getting positive reception from the audience, and this has resulted in a record-breaking viewership on YouTube for a South film trailer. ## According to the makers, the HHVM trailer generated 48 million views in the Telugu version, a record for a non-Hindi language trailer in India. Overall, the trailer amassed 61.7 million views across all languages on YouTube in the first 24 hours, making it one of the most-watched South Indian movie trailers ever. ## HHVM, produced by Mega Surya Production, is one of the most anticipated Telugu films of the year, and the response to the trailer indicates the same. Mumbai, July 4 - Hollywood superstar Brad Pitt's latest racing sports drama F1 has hit the ground running at the Indian box office, delivering a strong first-week gross collection of over ₹40 crore. The film, directed by Top Gun: Maverick helmer Joseph Kosinski, has become one of the highest first-week performers for an original Hollywood release in India. ## After a solid opening weekend that brought in around ₹25.50 crore gross, F1 maintained its momentum through the weekdays. Remarkably, the film saw minimal to no drops from Monday to Thursday, wrapping up the week with a total gross in the ₹42–43 crore range (₹35–36 crore net) across all languages. ## The IMAX was the clear preferred choice of the Indian audience for the movie, which accounted for approximately 30% of the total collections. The original English version, in particular, drove strong footfalls in premium screens. ## F1 faces a reduction in screen count heading into its second weekend, due to the arrival of big new releases like Jurassic World Rebirth, but it has managed to retain all IMAX screens. That's a big win, especially since the Jurassic World sequel isn't releasing in the IMAX format. ## Backed by strong word-of-mouth and positive audience reception, F1 is expected to hold firm in its second weekend. Mumbai, July 3 - After last doing a film together 17 years ago with Tashan (2008), Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan are reportedly reuniting for a thriller film, to be directed by Priyadarshan. The film has been in the news for the past few months, and now, more details have emerged regarding the same. ## According to the report by Hindustan Times, the project in question has been titled "Haiwaan", and the filming for the same is expected to commence in August this year. It is said that the makers feel the title describes the film's subject the best, which is reportedly an edge-of-the-seat thriller. ## The report also stated that other titles were also under consideration, but Haiwaan but clicked unanimously, given the characters the lead actors play. ## Akshay Kumar, meanwhile, recently wrapped up the shoot of horror-comedy Bhooth Bangla, directed by Priyadarshan. The actor-director duo will also be reuniting for the third instalment of the iconic comedy franchise, Here Pheri, which is expected to start rolling by early next year. ## Saif Ali Khan, on the other hand, was last seen on the big screen in "Devara: Part 1" in 2024. Mumbai, July 3 - Ending months of speculations and anticipation, producer Namit Malhotra has officially announced the grand cinematic adaptation of the epic Ramayana. Directed by Dangal fame Nitesh Tiwari, the film was announced on July 3 with a breathtaking video that revealed the primary cast and teased the film's stunning scale. ## Bollywood superstar Ranbir Kapoor will take on the revered role of Lord Ram, while Sai Pallavi will portray Goddess Sita. Yash steps into the role of Ravana, with Sunny Deol portraying Hanuman, while Ravi Dubey is cast as Laxman. ## Though only five actors were formally announced, the ensemble cast will also feature Kajal Aggarwal, Arun Govil, Rakul Preet Singh, Sheeba Chaddha, Lara Dutta, and Kunal Kapoor, among others, in significant roles in this timeless saga. ## The announcement video itself has left fans awestruck with its cinematic brilliance. Produced by Namit Malhotra's Prime Focus in collaboration with Yash's Monster Mind Creations, the video showcases a sweeping vision of the epic tale, brought to life with world-class VFX by DNEG and a thrilling background score by Hans Zimmer and AR Rahman. ## Towards the end of the video, the makers also released the official first look glimpse of Ranbir Kapoor as Ram and Yash as Ravana. Designed specifically for IMAX, Ramayana promises to be a landmark in Indian cinema, offering an immersive experience of the sacred epic.
