Salman Khan In Talks With Malayalam Director Mahesh Narayanan For An Action Thriller

Mumbai, May 30 - Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is gearing up to start his next film, which is with director Apoorva Lakhia, about the Galwan Valley Clash between India and China. While the movie is slated to go on floors in a couple of months, Salman is actively in talks with several other directors. ## It is said that Salman Khan has reportedly been talking to Kabir Khan, Ali Abbas Zafar, Anees Bazmee, and Rajkumar Periasamy. Now, according to the report by PeepingMoon.com, the "Sultan" star is in talks with Malayalam director Mahesh Narayanan for an action thriller film. ## The report states that Narayanan held talks with Salman in Mumbai for a large-scale action thriller. While the discussions are still at a preliminary stage, the actor is believed to be intrigued by the story's premise and has expressed interest in hearing a full script narration in the coming months. ## The project in question will be produced by Salman's sister, Alvira Khan Agnihotri and her husband, Atul Agnihotri's banner, Reel Life Productions. It is said to be a more commercially oriented script of Mahesh Narayanan, who is best known for acclaimed Malayalam films like "Take Off," "CU Soon," and "Malik". ## Meanwhile, Salman Khan will be playing Colonel B. Mumbai, October 17 - Sultan of Bollywood Salman Khan's much-awaited sequel "No Entry 2" has reportedly been put on hold. The reasons are still unknown but it is said that the film's further development has been stopped due to some internal issues regarding rights and all. ## Salman Khan was about to start "No Entry 2" from January 2023 onwards after finishing "Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan" but now he is looking for a fresh script to start in January. For the same Salman Khan might team up with producer Atul Agnihotri in a Raj Kumar Gupta directorial but that is yet to be confirmed.## Director Anees Bazmee who was to direct "No Entry 2", might opt for the superhero comedy film after the postponement or rather shelving of No Entry2. Salman Khan Apologizes To Cinema Owners; Wishes To Release Radhe In Theaters When Lockdown Ends

Mumbai, May 11, 2021: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has apologized to theater owners who were hoping actor's upcoming film, "Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai" to release in theaters and help them recover their losses due to the covid-19 pandemic. ## Directed by Prabhudheva, the movie will start streaming on multiple platforms, including OTT and DTH services, on May 13 at the festival of Eid. It will also release in theaters whenever they are open in India, though most of the states have shut the cinemas due to the second covid-19 wave. ## "I apologize to cinema owners who were hoping to earn profits with the release of this film. We waited as long as we could, hoping that this pandemic would end and we would be able to release in theatres all over the country. But that did not happen. We don't know when things will go back to normal", Salman Khan told reporters in a roundtable interview from Mumbai. ## "I couldn't have kept my Eid commitment with fans without the support of ZEE. It was important to release the film at a time like this because people are suffering due to the pandemic. Incomes have reduced for many, so now, instead of spending a lot of money on tickets at the cinemas, people can watch it at a much cheaper rate at home. I want to provide some entertainment to people at a grim time like this", Salman said. ## However, the actor again expressed his desire to release the film in theaters when things subside and it is 'safe' for people to visit cinema halls. ## "I know people are disappointed that they will not be able to watch Radhe on the big screen. Some people have booked auditoriums and are planning to screen my film, which I won't encourage because I don't want people to say 'Salman Khan ki picture dekhne gaye aur corona phail gaya'. Once everything is safe, we will release the film again in the theatres. We hope the film does well then too", the actor said.## Radhe is said to have a remake of the 2017 Korean film The Outlaws.
