'Avatar' Re-Release Puts Up Super Impressive Figures At The Worldwide Box Office
Los Angeles, October 11 - The re-release of James Cameron's all-time biggest grosser Avatar (2009) has put up super impressive figures at the worldwide box office, further straightening its sequel's box office potential. ## The sci-fi epic was re-released a couple of weeks ago worldwide and has so far grossed approx. $72 million worldwide. The 4K remastered version of the film brings dazzling results at the box office as it was re-released on fewer screens than the other recent re-releases but has scored way higher than those films. ## The movie was re-released in 51 international markets (without China) along with the USA. It grossed $23.3 million in the USA and $48.6 million over its two weeks of reissue. It was re-released in China last year where it grossed a gigantic $57 million, to back to the number position by overstepping "Avengers: Endgame".## The worldwide gross total of "Avatar" now stands at $2.92 billion.## As the anticipation for the sequel Avatar: The Way of Water, which opens this December, is building up to new heights with each passing day, the re-release result of its predecessor has almost sealed that the initial box office numbers of this mega movie will be super high. ## Stay tuned...
