Mumbai, February 28 - The trequel to the iconic comedy franchise, Hera Pheri has been confirmed and the makers recently shoot a promo for the same with the original trio of Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty, and Paresh Rawal.## "Hera Pheri 3" is one of the three films of producer Firoz Nadiadwala which has been in development for a long time and finally, it is happening. The producer also working to revive Welcome and Awara Pagal Deewana, and he finally seems to have found a way to successfully bring them into the scene. ## According to Peepingmoon.com, producer Firoz Nadiadwala has locked "Awara Pagal Deewana 2" which will be the immediate next after Hera Pheri 3. Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Paresh Rawal will be returning to reprise their popular quirky characters of Guru Gulab Khatri, Yeda Anna, and Manilal Patel, respectively, and this time, they will be joined by John Abraham. ## The script of "Awara Pagal Deewana 2" has reportedly been locked and the movie is expected to go into production later this year. The report says that Ahmed Khan will be directing the sequel this time, and he has already begun the preparation. The first movie was directed by Vikram Bhatt. ## The status of "Welcome 3" is not clear yet but it is expected to get on the floor by next year. Mumbai, February 27 - Back in 2020, producer Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth Roy Kapur came together to announce the war drama movie Pippa, starring Ishaan Khattar and Mrunal Thakur in the lead roles. ## "Airlift" director Raja Krishna Menon helmed the movie, based on the book The Burning Chaffees by Balram Singh Mehta who fought during the Indo-Pak war in 1971. Khattar has played the role of Brigadier Balram Singh Mehta.## The movie was originally announced to release in 2021, before makers postponed it to December 2, 2022, due to the covid-19 pandemic which delayed the shoot. When it was looking on track for December 2022 release, the makers postponed it again due to an unknown reason and they are yet to lock the new release date. ## The makers are eyeing only theatrical release as the film is made for the big screen. Now, according to the latest reports, "Pippa" won't be released anytime soon, and there are chances it will only release in 2024 on the silver screen. ## According to PeepingMoon, "Pippa" has returned to the editing table as the final product failed to match the criteria required to get a go-ahead from the producers. Considering it is an 85-crore project, the makers are reworking on it to make it appealing to a wider audience. ## The film takes its title from the Russian amphibious war tank called the PT-76, popularly known as Pippa. Much to the delight of the late singer's fans, Ranbir confirmed that he indeed doing it. ## During the event, Ranbir revealed that he is a part of the Kishore Kumar biopic and has been working on it for the past 11 years. The opening day early estimates suggest around 3 crores net which is disastrous. Last week, Shehzada featuring Kartik Aryan who is an upcoming star took a disappointing opening but now that opening looks far better as it is more than a double of Selfie. Mumbai, February 23 - After the dream start of the year with Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan, Bollywood gets a reality check of the changing box office dynamics in the current scenario. Kartik Aaryan's Shehzada failed to utilize the momentum created by Pathaan as Bollywood's search for the next hit begins. ## The industry is now gearing up for the next release with superior star power in the form of Selfiee. The Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi-fronted flick is not the next Pathaan but the makers will be hoping for a better outcome than Shehzada which was carrying decent expectations. ## The full-fledged advance booking for this Raj Mehta's directorial was opened just 24 hours before the release. While overall pre-sales of Selfiee are low, the pace of it is better than Shehzada which was not going anywhere with its pre-sales numbers. ## Selfiee is not a frontloaded box office flick, it is expected to take in a lower opening than Shehzada which took the start of 6 crores net. Going by the advance booking and considering other aspects, Selfiee is expected to open around 4-5 crores net. It has sold approx. 20K tickets so far for the opening day, which can be termed low.## Produced by Prithviraj Productions, Dharma Productions, and Cape Of Good Films, Selfiee is expected to release on over 3000 screens nationwide. Mumbai, February 23 - The leading Bollywood production house and music company, T-Series has acquired the musical rights of some of the most-awaited Bollywood films. ## On Thursday (Feb. 23), T-Series took to Twitter to announce its versatile and impressive line-up of film music. One of the biggest musical movies of the year, Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani's "Satya Prem Ki Katha" is on the list of T-Series' upcoming musical slate. ## The studio also bagged the music rights of Hera Pheri which has been one of the most talked about franchises over the last few months. Mumbai, February 20 - Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan makes his debut in the 1000 crores club at the worldwide box office, thanks to the historic blockbuster Pathaan. ## The spy action thriller, directed by Siddharth Anand, has been running riot since its release on January 25 this year. Keeping domestic box office aside, Pathaan's overseas box office performance is eye-popping with approx. $46 million (380 crores gross). ## When combined with the Rs. 620 crores that the film has earned at the domestic box office, Pathaan's worldwide total has now crossed 1000 crores in just 27 days. ## The Yash Raj Films production is the first Bollywood movie to breach the 1000 crores mark without China and with China, overall, it is the second. Previously, Aamir Khan's Dangal has scored over 21 crores worldwide, including approx. 1300 crores from China alone.## Pathaan is also only the 5th Indian movie to reach the historic figure.
