Seoul, Dec 26 (IANS) BTS' vocalist Jin and rapper RM have tested positive for the coronavirus, their management agency has said. The announcement, according to Yonhap, came a day after the agency, Big Hit Music, confirmed that Suga, another member of the seven-member K-pop superband, has been infected with the virus. ## "RM and Jin were confirmed virus-positive," the agency said, adding that RM is not showing any symptoms in particular, but Jin has a slight fever. They are undergoing treatment at home in compliance with instructions from health authorities, the agency said. ## The members returned home on Friday after visiting Los Angeles on November 27-28 and earlier this month on a concert schedule. Both RM and Jin had tested negative in earlier diagnostic tests, the agency added. ## Interestingly, the three members completed their second rounds of Covid vaccinations in late August, Big Hit Music said, and none of them had contact with each other or other BTS members. Chennai, Dec 26 (IANS) Days after actor Vadivelu tested positive for Covid-19, his film's director Suraj, too, has been admitted to a private hospital here for the same reason. ## Suraj had accompanied Vadivelu to London along with a few other core members of the 'Naai Sekar Returns' film unit. The others included music director Santhosh Narayanan. ## The team was in London to score the music for the much-awaited film, which will mark the return of Vadivelu to the big screen. ## On the team's return from London, Vadivelu was screened at Chennai airport, where he tested positive for the virus. Seoul, Dec 25 (IANS) Suga of the South-Korean super K-pop band BTS has tested positive for Covid after returning from the US. ## The K-Pop idol received his positive test result one day after he returned to South Korea, where he was quarantined as soon as he arrived, reports aceshowbiz.com. ## He has not come in contact with other members of the group. ## The group's label Big Hit Music revealed the star's Covid diagnosis on Friday. ## "BTS member Suga was confirmed with Covid-19 on Friday, December 24 during his self-quarantine after taking the PCR test immediately upon his return to Korea on Thursday, December 23," read a statement released by the company. ## "Suga completed his second round of the Covid-19 vaccination in late August and is not presenting any symptoms as of today," the statement continued. ## "He is currently administering self-care at home per the guidelines of the healthcare authorities." ## Big Hit went on assuring that Suga has been following Covid protocols. ## "Suga, who had a number of personal engagements in the US during BTS's official time off, tested negative for the PCR test taken before traveling to the United States and began his self-quarantine after taking the PCR test upon his return to Korea. On December 1, the official Twitter handle of Mumbai Police shared a Bollywood reference yet again to create awareness about Covid protocols. ## Mumbai Police's social media handle used a scene from the upcoming Kabir Khan directorial cricket biopic "83" to talk about the importance of wearing masks at all times. Taking a line from the recently released trailer of Ranveer Singh-led film, Mumbai Police send out a message to people who ignore Covid-19 safety protocols. ## The dialogue was, "He doesn't know defence", the police wrote in their post sharing the screenshot of the dialogue, "When you don't wear your mask in spite of '83' million reminders". The James Gunn directorial collects only $26.5 million from 4,002 North American theatres, $3.5 million short from Warner Bros. prediction of $30 million domestic debut. ## There are many factors that went against the film's strong opening, including the growing concerns of the delta variant of the covid-19, the Warner Bros. film's hybrid release on HBO Max at no extra cost to subscribers, and its R-rating. The makers cost $185 million on film's making, and its low performance will surely make Warner Bros. rethink its simultaneous release strategy. ## At the international box office, 'The Suicide Squad ' added another $45.7 million from 70 overseas territories, bringing its global tally to $72.2 million. The standalone sequel to Suicide Squad (2016), opened with largely positive reviews from critics and audiences but it fell way short to reprise the success of the original movie. ## The original Suicide Squad had a massive $133.7 million opening weekend at the North American box office. Despite those eye-popping numbers, critics and audiences were left unimpressed by the film, though it ended up grossing $746 million worldwide. Mumbai, June 8, 2021: India's one of the biggest production houses, Yash Raj Films had pledged to vaccinate the members of the Hindi film industry so that they can resume work at the earliest. On Tuesday, Aditya Chopra has started the much-needed vaccination drive at Yash Raj Films (YRF) studios, which aims to vaccinate around 4000 workers in the first phase.## The Studio has pledged that it will do its best to vaccinate 30,000 registered members of the FWICE (Federation of Western India Cine Employees). The company has already vaccinated its employees in an earlier drive that happened within the YRF Studios in Mumbai. ## The vax drive, initiated by filmmaker Aditya Chopra of YRF, looks to facilitate the resumption of day-to-day activity in Bollywood.## Akshaye Widhani, Senior Vice President, Yash Raj Films, said, "After inoculating all the employees at YRF, we started vaccinating the crew members of our films and we are now delighted to have started the vaccination drive for the Hindi film industry. This will result in the daily wage earners of our industry returning to work and provide financial stability for themselves and their families".## "The drive will have to take place in phases, given the huge number of vaccines that are required to cover the industry. Mumbai, June 5, 2021: The Bollywood film industry based in Mumbai, Maharashtra left stranded once again when the second wave of the covid-19 pandemic forced the state government to enforce the lockdown to curb the virus a few weeks ago. The shootings of the films and tv shows were paused and theaters were shut which badly affected the daily wage earners. ## Now, as the coronavirus cases are declining sharply in Maharashtra and all over the country, the Maha. government has decided to unlock the state from Monday (June 7), which will be based on the COVID positivity rate and the availability of oxygen beds in the state. To unlock the state, the state government led by CM Uddhav Thackeray on Friday issued a five-level restriction plan. ## According to level 1, which includes areas where the weekly covid-19 positivity rate is less than 5% and where less than 25% of oxygen beds are occupied, theaters will be permitted to operate at full capacity while shooting can also resume in such areas. ## The theaters will be allowed to operate at 50% capacity in the areas when the weekly positivity rate is less than 5% and oxygen beds occupancy is between 25% to 40%, according to level 2. Level 3 consists of cities and districts which have a weekly positivity rate of 5%-10% or oxygen bed occupancy of more than 40%. ## Mumbai city falls under the level 3 category since its weekly positivity rate is 5.56% while the bed occupancy is 32.51%. According to the guidelines, cinema halls won't be allowed to resume operations for places under Level 3. However, shootings can be resumed. But, one will have to strictly follow certain rules - the shoots will happen in a bubble and moreover, no movement will be allowed outside after 5 pm.## As per the government notification, every Thursday, the public health department of Maharashtra will declare the list of oxygen beds occupancy and weekly positivity rate in each district.
