Mumbai, July 16 - After getting a setback with Sikandar, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has now teamed up with director Apoorva Lakhia for a war action drama Battle of Galwan. The movie is set against the backdrop of the Galwan Valley clash in 2020 between Indian and Chinese troops. ## The makers recently announced the film with the first look poster, which was appreciated by all, and piqued the curiosity for the movie. The movie is set to go on floors in August this year, and ahead of it, the possible release date plans have been revealed. ## Salman Khan's Battle of Galwan To Skip Eid 2026 Release? ## According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, the much-awaited film might skip releasing during the Eid weekend in 2026. This particular holiday period has seen Salman's many films in the past, but the same may not be the case with his upcoming movie. ## "The makers are not looking at releasing the film on Eid. This is because three films are already scheduled for release on March 19, 2026 – Yash-starer Toxic, the comic caper Dhamaal 4 and Sanjay Leela Bhansali's intense romantic drama Love & War, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal", says the report. ## The report further stated that with Eid release almost ruled out, the makers are considering to the bring the film to the big screen in either January or June 2026. It is said that the makers are planning to wrap the shoot in 55-60 days, so there is a possibility of a January 2026 release. Helen Remembers Shammi Kapoor On 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa'

Mumbai, Jan 8 (IANS) Enigmatic yesteryear actress and dancer Helen recalled late actor Shammi Kapoor on the singing reality show 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa'. As Helen is appearing as a special guest, each contestant gave power-packed performances on her famous dance numbers.## While each of them has given their best it was Vraj and Rajashri's dance moves on the song 'O Haseena Zulfonwali Jane Jahan' from the film 'Teesri Manzil', that took Helen down memory lane.## Feeling nostalgic after witnessing Vraj and Rajashri's performance, Helen said: "Such a beautiful performance! I just went down memory lane, and it reminded me of Shammi Ji today. Shammi Ji, are you listening?. If he would have been here, he would have been so happy after seeing your performance".## She recalled working with the late actor and continued: "We both have worked in a lot of films together but let me tell you, he was a prankster, he used to make us all laugh on set. We have done rehearsals for this song around 8 to 10 times, and Shammi Ji had his style. Lost my best friend, the nicest and kindest man on earth, last night. I couldn't have asked for a better Father, or a better person to be my teacher for life. Himesh Reshammiya focusses on new songs, scripts during lockdown

New Delhi, April 22 (IANS) Singer-composer-actor Himesh Reshammiya is a busy bee even during the COVID-19 lockdown.## A lot of things have come to a standstill as people have been told to stay indoors for safety. Work might have slowed down for many, but Himesh is as busy as ever.## "I am keeping myself busy with a lot of things during this quarantine period. I spend my days working out, composing new songs and reading new scripts. I am also planning a lot of things in film music and everything in the world of entertainment that is there for me. Like I always say, for me, the journey has just begun," Himesh told IANS.## What about working on a song on quarantine?## "No, I haven't made any song on quarantine yet but I have composed some great romantic and dance numbers, which I am sure my fans will enjoy immensely," said the "Aashiq banaya aapne" hitmaker, who has requested his fans to practice social distancing by staying at home.## "It is important for all of us to stay safe right now. As they say, this too shall pass," he said on a positive note.## Prior to the lockdown, he was busy judging new talent.## "I have judged many shows on television, but this ('BIG Golden Voice') was the first time that I judged on the radio. I don't think there is much of a difference between the two, except the fact that on radio, the quality of one's voice alone plays a crucial role. When you are judging on radio, especially during the first phase, voice is the only priority whereas on television, the attitude and personality of the singer also unknowingly become aspects on which the singer is selected," he said.## Talking about the radio show, he shared: "My favorite moment during judging 'BIG Golden Voice Season 7' was when we announced not one, but two winners. Shalini and Ankit both gave us performances to remember throughout their journey."## The former judge of "Indian Idol" often picks budding singers from reality shows for his film projects.## "All the singing shows are projecting great talent but some voices are so good that they inspire you. I truly believe that our country has some really amazing singing talent and their voices need to be heard by the entire nation. When I hear a great voice, I feel like launching it as soon as possible. This is something I have been doing time and again and will continue to do so in the future," said the composer, who had given a platform to many new singers like Darshan Raval and Mohammed Irfan.## Himesh has been in the industry for long, but he hasn't stopped learning even from the newcomers.## "Each and every one has taught me something valuable, but the most important thing I have learned is how to be the best student and keep learning at every stage of my life.
