Here are the complete results for this Friday's edition of AEW Rampage which takes place on February 23, 2024, at the BOK Center in Tulsa, OK. ## AEW Rampage airs every Friday at 11 pm ET on TNT in the United States. It is AEW's second weekly television show, positioned behind their flagship show, Dynamite. ## AEW Rampage Results February 23, 2024 ## Live from the arena, Excalibur, Tony Schiavone, and "Daddy Magic" Matt Menard welcome viewers as Penta El Zero Miedo, Komander, Bryan Keith, Private Party, Matt Sydal, Top Flight, and Action Andretti await in the ring. ## Penta El Zero Miedo, Komander and Bryan Keith (w/ Alex Abrahantes) vs. Private Party and Matt Sydal vs. Top Flight and Action Andretti ## Action Andretti and Matt Sydal kick things off in a flurry of elbows and splashes. Darius joins the fray, but Sydal's agility keeps him on his toes. Bryan Keith enters, delivering a swift boot to Kassidy, who counters with a hurricanrana. Quen soars through the air with a splash, setting the stage for Penta's arrival. ## Penta and Quen engage in their signature hand gestures, a playful prelude to the upcoming chaos. All nine competitors erupt in a wild brawl, showcasing their diverse styles and athleticism.## Komander takes flight with a hurricanrana on Dante, followed by a breathtaking top-rope walk and dropkick. Penta takes over, delivering a Slingblade to Dante. Andretti, never one to stay out, tags in and receives a clothesline from Komander, using Penta as his personal launchpad. ## After a quick break, Dante stuns Private Party with a springboard back elbow. He continues his offensive with double back elbows to Quen and a high-flying splash. Keith and Darius lock horns in the center of the ring, with Keith sending Darius crashing to the outside with a powerful dropkick.## Komander, determined to dominate, locks Sydal in a painful Bow and Arrow hold on the apron. Dante, ever the showman, leaps over them, taking down everyone outside the ring. Sydal counters with a devastating double knee drop off the top rope onto Komander. Penta retaliates with the Fear Factor, while Kassidy connects with a neckbreaker on Sydal. ## Kassidy and Quen try to take down the resilient Penta, but his boot to Sydal's midsection and a final Fear Factor seal the deal, securing victory for Penta and his team. ## WINNER: Penta El Zero Miedo, Komander and Bryan Keith ## After the trios match frenzy, we cut backstage to The Outcasts huddle with Renee Paquette. Saraya, exuding confidence, delivers a message to Ruby Soho, promising retribution. Adding fuel to the fire, she announces her brother, Zac Knight, has officially joined the All Elite ranks. ## The scene shifts back to ringside, where the seasoned Young Bucks strut down to the squared circle. Their opponents, Cappuccino Jones and Jonny Lyons, await, ready for a clash of veteran experience versus youthful ambition. ## The Young Bucks vs. Cappuccino Jones and Jonny Lyons ## The Young Bucks Soar to Victory with a Textbook Tag Team Maneuver! Nicholas and Lyons ignite the match! The bell rings, and Nicholas unleashes a flurry of right hands, peppering Lyons' spine. Matthew, sensing opportunity, tags in and continues the punishment with more punishing right hands, culminating in a thunderous DDT.## With Lyons reeling, Nicholas flies back in, connecting with a devastating discus lariat on Jones. He tags Matthew once more, and the seasoned duo ascends to the top rope, their synchronized movements a testament to their experience. The final blow lands with the grace and power of the TK Driver, sealing their victory. ## WINNER: The Young Bucks ## Nicholas Jackson confronts the referee for calling him "Nick," threatens a fine, then apologizes to Tony Schiavone for an incident involving the EVP Trigger. They present him with a gift card but refuse to rescind the fine. Matthew Jackson warns Schiavone about their plans for Sting and Darby Allin at AEW Revolution. Sammy Guevara enters the ring after the break. ## Tony Schiavone Speaks With Sammy Guevara ## Tony Schiavone delves into the fallout of Sammy Guevara's fiery encounter with Jeff Hardy. Guevara, while acknowledging the thrill of facing his childhood hero, expresses frustration about Powerhouse Hobbs' table-aided interference. He declares Hobbs a star in his own right, but implies it's too late for him to realize it. Guevara then issues a bold challenge, calling Hobbs to the ring.## Instead, the cunning Don Callis emerges, his words dripping with scorn. He dismisses Guevara's recent accomplishments, focusing solely on his newborn baby. Callis paints fatherhood as a weakness, a stark contrast to the "great athlete" he saw in Guevara before. The venom in his voice is clear: Guevara is no longer worthy of joining The Don Callis Family, deemed "weak" and "pathetic."## The tension explodes as Hobbs attempts a sneak attack. Guevara, ever vigilant, leaps over the top rope and sends Hobbs crashing to the canvas. He grabs a chair, its metallic gleam reflecting the animosity in the air. With a sickening crack, the chair connects with Hobbs' spine, followed by a brutal midsection strike and another spine-shattering blow. Hobbs, refusing to back down, turns the tables with a clothesline that sends Guevara reeling. The onslaught continues with a pair of spinebusters and a thunderous slam, leaving Guevara reeling as the crowd gasps. ## Attention shifts to the ringside, where Anna Jay and Mariah May prepare for their upcoming battle. ## Singles Match: Mariah May vs. Anna Jay ## The bell clangs, and Mariah May wastes no time, unleashing a double chop to Anna Jay's chest. The two lock up, a tense dance of anticipation before May trips Jay with a sly maneuver. Jay counters with a swift trip of her own, followed by a neckbreaker that leaves the crowd gasping. May fires back with another double chop, but Jay responds with a punishing chop of her own, the intensity rising with each exchange. ## After a quick break, May connects with a well-placed kick to Jay's head. Jay, undeterred, retaliates with a kick of her own, but May, displaying her agility, pulls her off the top turnbuckle with a stunning hurricanrana. May, sensing victory, attempts her signature Hip Attack, but Jay, with a burst of resilience, sidesteps the maneuver and counters with a modified backbreaker. She then cinches in the Queenslayer submission, aiming for victory, but May, in a display of desperation, bites Jay's arm to escape the hold. With newfound momentum, May connects with her May Day finisher, securing the win. ## WINNER: Mariah May ## Backstage, Ruby Soho and Angelo Parker update Renee Paquette on their date, then Soho challenges Saraya to meet face-to-face next week.## In the ring, Jake Hager and Hornsby are joined by The Undisputed Kingdom. ## Roderick Strong (w/ The Undisputed Kingdom) vs. Jake Hager (w/ Hornsby) ## The bell clangs, and the fighters lock horns. Strong unleashes a chopping blow to Hager's chest, then retreats to catch his breath. He re-enters the ring, aiming to level Hager, but the bigger man anticipates the move and slams Strong into the corner. Hager throws Strong across the ring like a ragdoll, then charges towards him. Strong, sensing the danger, leaps out of the ring, with Hager hot on his heels. Hager drags him back into the squared circle, where Strong retaliates with a flurry of right punches to the spine. Unfazed, Hager delivers a powerful kick that sends Strong flying across the ring before dropping him with a clothesline.## After a commercial break, Strong connects with a well-timed kick to Hager's midsection, followed by a devastating Angle Slam. Outside the ring, chaos erupts as Hornsby, Taven, and Bennett square off. Suddenly, Orange Cassidy replaces Hornsby and tosses his signature purple hat to Hager. Cassidy engages in a brawl with Taven and Bennett while Hager, sporting the hat, overpowers Strong inside the ring. He connects with his signature Hager Bomb and attempts a pin, but Strong shows incredible resilience and kicks out.## On the outside, Taven overpowers the flamboyant Cassidy. Inside the ring, Strong delivers a thunderous jawbreaker to Hager. Undeterred, Hager counters with a Doctor Bomb and goes for the pin, but Strong refuses to stay down. Hager attempts to lock in a punishing Ankle Lock, but the referee gets distracted by Cassidy being unceremoniously dumped back into the ring. Taven and Bennett, seeing an opportunity, jump onto the apron, but Hager swiftly sends them crashing to the mat with powerful blows. However, Hager's momentary lapse in concentration proves costly as Strong nails him with a jumping knee strike, securing the hard-fought victory. ## WINNER: Roderick Strong ## Stay Tuned To Sacnilk...

AEW Faces 'Very Chaotic' Backstage At Dynamite Last Night Due To Several Unplanned Absences From The Show

Last night's episode of AEW Dynamite reportedly faced some backstage challenges due to several unplanned absences, resulting in a chaotic atmosphere and a show with a "disorganized feeling." ## The most notable absence stemmed from the tragic passing of Sting's father. This meant Sting, originally planned for the show, had to be replaced by Ric Flair. ## Jeff Hardy and Trent Beretta were also unexpectedly unavailable. Hardy was slated for a "key role," while Beretta's singles match with Orange Cassidy was heavily built up but scrapped due to illness. Mike Bennett filled Beretta's spot, but the replacement came at the last minute. ## While speaking on the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer reported that a sense of uncertainty backstage, leading to limited pre-show announcements. The team reportedly avoided "false advertising" due to the unknowns surrounding talent availability. ## This lack of prior information and the last-minute changes contributed to a "disorganized feeling" for viewers. While the show went on, it lacked the usual level of structure and anticipation. ## Stay Tuned To Sacnilk...

AEW Rampage Results February 16, 2024: Highlights, Commentary, Live Update, Winners

Here are the complete results for this Friday's edition of AEW Rampage which takes place on February 16, 2024, at the H-E-B Center in Cedar Park, TX. ## AEW Rampage airs every Friday at 11 pm ET on TNT in the United States. It is AEW's second weekly television show, positioned behind their flagship show, Dynamite.## AEW Rampage Results February 16, 2024 ##' Sammy Guevara vs. Jeff Hardy (w/ Matt Hardy) in a no-disqualification match ## Jeff Hardy's neon arm sleeves and Sammy Guevara's kaleidoscope gear nearly overloaded my poor TV as they tore into each other. Hardy slammed Guevara like a hammer, then dove for a ladder only to get it dropkicked right into his chest! Talk about hero worship gone wrong - Hardy was Guevara's idol, remember?## Guevara retaliated with a superkick and a ring apron stunner, dragging Hardy back into the ring for a near miss. The fight spilled outside, Hardy whipping Guevara into chairs before launching a devastating dropkick. Back inside, Hardy tossed a chair at Guevara like a Frisbee - not exactly gentlemanly behavior!## Both men ascended the ladder, trading blows high above the ring. Hardy managed a Twist of Fate off the ladder onto Guevara, but it only got a two-count. During a commercial break, Hardy snuck another ladder under the ring while his brother Matt prepped a table.## Things got real nasty. Jeff laid Guevara out on the table and took off his shirt with theatrical flair before climbing the ladder at a snail's pace. Guevara saw his chance, pulled him down, and regained control of the match.## One of the most ridiculous spots I've ever seen involved Guevara using an open chair like a medieval torture device on Hardy's head before hitting a senton bomb off the ladder through the table. The crowd chanted "This is awesome!", but I wasn't buying it.## Back in the ring, Guevara attempted a shooting star press, but Hardy countered with his knees up. Unfortunately, that did little good as Guevara's knees connected squarely with Hardy's face. The commentary team's insistence that Hardy countered was baffling, considering the replay showed otherwise. Guevara finished the match with his GTH finisher, securing the victory. ## WINNER: Sammy Guevara ## After the match, Hardy and Guevara brawled, but for me, it lacked the flow and originality I crave. It felt like a retread of past matches, punctuated by excessive brutality (judging by the crimson aftermath).## After the bloodbath, Callis' interference added another layer of confusion. Was it a justified attack or gratuitous violence? The lines are blurring.## Moving on, Cage's "real wrestler" jab at Hook and Private Party's self-proclaimed top 5 ranking offered some amusing moments. But then came the head-scratcher: Moxley and Claudio claiming telepathic powers to target FTR. Is it serious intent, playful banter, or just plain weird? ## Finally, Ruby's interview got derailed by Saraya and Harley, leaving Ruby yearning for peace. Was it a well-timed interruption or an unwelcome intrusion? Again, the answer depends on your interpretation. ## Dustin Rhodes & Russ Von Erich & Marshall Von Erich vs Hitt, Romero Cruz & Shimbashi ## Rhodes delivered his finishing move on Cruz, securing the pinfall while simultaneously controlling two other opponents thanks to Russ and Marshal's well-timed claw holds. ## WINNER: Dustin Rhodes & Russ Von Erich & Marshall Von Erich ## Toni Storm showcased her submission skills on Mariah May. ## Darby Allin narrated a fast-paced video package recapping the Young Bucks' clash with Sting from last week's Dynamite. ## Singles Match: Queen Aminata vs. Anna Jay ## Jay dominated the early part of the match, stringing together offense. She utilized an innovative strategy by hanging Aminata in the ropes before delivering a devastating backstabber, nearly securing the win.## After the commercial break, the tide turned as Aminata rallied. She launched into a flurry of maneuvers, showcasing a suplex, a clothesline, and a powerful running PK. Despite Jay's attempts to evade Aminata's signature hip attack, Aminata connected with a well-placed sliding boot in the corner for another near fall.## The intensity escalated as Jay countered with a flatliner, again coming close to victory. However, Aminata showcased her resilience by transitioning from a sleeper hold into a near-fall pin attempt. She capitalized on the momentum, nailing a headbutt on Jay, and ultimately securing the pinfall victory. ## WINNER: Queen Aminata ## Aminata etched her name in AEW history by securing her first-ever singles victory in the promotion, defeating the formidable Jay in a hard-fought battle. Sportsmanship prevailed as both competitors shared a respectful hug after the final bell. ## Rene Paquette delved into the aftermath of Willow Nightingale's controversial win on Dynamite. While Willow expressed frustration over Stokely Hathaway's interference, Kris Statlander surprisingly took full responsibility for her teammate's actions. ## Angelo Parker and Ruby Soho sparked intrigue with an unexpected announcement. Amidst their ongoing storyline, they casually arranged a casual "date" for drinks next Wednesday, seemingly oblivious to their usual Dynamite commitments. ## The Bang Bang Scissor Gang (Jay White, Austin Gunn, Colten Gunn, Billy Gunn, Max Caster & Anthony Bowens) vs. Dark Order (Alex Reynolds, John Silver & Evil Uno) & Jeff Jarrett, Jay Lethal & Satnam Singh ## The match opened with picture-in-picture, showcasing the heels dominating Austin Gunn. Satnam Singh tagged in, showcasing his power with a headbutt and beeling Austin across the ring. Billy Gunn tagged in and gained momentum, leading to a near fall after hitting the Famouser on Alex Reynolds. Action continued with various finishers and counters, culminating in Billy and Austin executing the 3:10 to Yuma on Reynolds for the win. Jay White's involvement felt overshadowed amidst the chaos. ## WINNER: The Bang Bang Scissor Gang (Jay White, Austin Gunn, Colten Gunn, Billy Gunn, Max Caster & Anthony Bowens) ## Stay Tuned To Sacnilk...

Ranking Top 10 Surprising WWE Stars Who Have Never Won A Match At WrestleMania

Being part of the main event or even headlining WrestleMania is considered the pinnacle of achievement for most WWE stars. It signifies top-tier status, pushes you into the spotlight, and brings immense media attention. ## A WrestleMania match holds significant importance for many WWE stars, offering potential career boosts, memorable moments, and increased exposure. Even non-main event matches at WrestleMania can create iconic moments that resonate with fans for years. Think of Edge spearing Jeff Hardy off a ladder or Undertaker's undefeated streak ending. These moments can solidify a wrestler's legacy and endear them to fans. ## WrestleMania has the biggest viewership of any WWE event, providing unparalleled exposure for all participants. This can be crucial for mid-card wrestlers to gain recognition and potentially move up the ranks. ## Below check out the top 10 WWE stars who have indeed competed at the event, but never got to win a single match. ## 1. Wade Barrett - Lost 2 ## Despite being the leader of the Nexus, a dominant faction early in his career, Barrett never tasted victory at WrestleMania. He lost all two of his appearances at the Grandest Stage of Them All. ## 2. Bob Backlund - Lost 2 ## Bob Backlund is best known for his appearances in the World Wide Wrestling Federation/World Wrestling Federation (WWF) from 1977 to 1984 and in the 1990s. Backlund held the WWF Championship for a record-setting 2,135 days during his first reign, which is the second-longest reign in the championship's history. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2013. ## 3. Dustin Rhodes - Lost 5 ## He is best known as Goldust in WWE (1995-2018), son of Dusty Rhodes, and half-brother of Cody Rhodes. Across WWF/WWE and WCW, he won 23 championships, including three Intercontinental Championships and nine Hardcore Championships in WWF/WWE, and two World Tag Team Championships in WCW. He's participated in the fourth most Royal Rumble matches, at 13. ## 4. Big E - Lost 5 ## Big E is best known for his work as part of the stable The New Day alongside Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods. In 2021, Big E won the WWE Championship, becoming the first Black man to hold the title in nearly 15 years. He held the title for five months before losing it to Brock Lesnar. In March 2022, Ewen suffered a severe neck injury during a live event and has been on hiatus since then. ## 5. Brie Bella - Lost 3 ## She's best known as Brie Bella in WWE (2007-2023) alongside her twin Nikki as The Bella Twins. They debuted in 2008 on SmackDown. Brie is a one-time WWE Divas Champion. The Bella Twins were inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2021. Brie also starred in Total Divas and Total Bellas. ## 6. R-Truth - Lost 6 ## With a staggering 0-6 record at WrestleMania, R-Truth is another wrestler who holds the worst winless streak in the event's history. While he's enjoyed comedic success and title reigns outside of WrestleMania, victory has eluded him on the biggest stage. ## 7. Bubba Ray Dudley - Lost 4 (Each) ## This legendary tag team, known for their innovative tables, ladders, and chairs (TLC) matches, surprisingly never captured a win at WrestleMania. Despite memorable encounters with Edge & Christian and The Hardy Boyz, victory remained out of reach. ## 8. Carlito - Lost 2 ## With his cool character and memorable "spit in the face" challenge, Carlito had potential, but never managed a WrestleMania win. His two appearances resulted in losses, including a Money in the Bank Ladder Match defeat. ## 9. Asuka - Lost 4 ## Asuka is currently one of the top WWE stars, but she goes without winning a single match at WrestleMania. Asuka, made history in WWE after signing in 2015, becoming the first Japanese female wrestler to do so in over 20 years. ## Her accomplishments include winning the NXT Women's Championship with a record reign of 510 days, winning the inaugural Women's Royal Rumble match in 2018, and being a four-time WWE Women's Tag Team Champion. Providing commentary were Excalibur, Taz, and Tony Schiavone, while Dasha assumed the role of the ring announcer. ## The inaugural match commenced with Jon Moxley's dramatic entrance through the crowd. As excitement escalated, the camera focused on four CMLL wrestlers in the audience, intensifying anticipation for the upcoming Bryan Danielson vs. Hechicero clash at AEW Collision. Jeff Hardy made his entrance from the stage, notably without his brother Matt Hardy accompanying him to ringside. ## Singles Match: Jon Moxley vs. Jeff Hardy ## Jeff initiated an early dive, targeting Moxley at ringside, and proceeded to choke him with an extended piece of cloth he had concealed. Excalibur observed that the match's regulations appeared to be somewhat lenient, permitting such intense maneuvers. Moxley promptly countered with a daring suicide dive.## The two contenders continued their skirmish outside the ring, with Hardy eventually tossing Moxley over the barricade and onto the CMLL wrestlers in the crowd. After a brief altercation with the fans, Moxley returned to ringside. Hardy retaliated by hurling a chair towards Moxley's head, with Moxley managing to shield himself just in time. Hardy then charged, leaping off the ring steps, only to be met by a powerful punch from Moxley, leading into a picture-in-picture commercial break.## Upon our return from the commercial break, the match's intensity continued to escalate. Moxley seized an opportunity and inserted a pen into Hardy's gauge hole in his ear, twisting it in a painful maneuver. Jeff managed to fight his way out of this painful hold, and the action spilled out to the ringside area. Once back inside the ring, they exchanged a flurry of strikes, with Hardy delivering a Manhattan Drop, a double leg drop, a basement dropkick, and an elbow drop, but only managing to secure a nearfall.## Jon then executed a snapping piledriver, but it wasn't sufficient as Hardy kicked out. They found themselves jockeying for position on the apron, leading to a devastating Twist of Fate by Hardy. Climbing to the top rope, Jeff connected with his Whisper in the Wind, but it still wasn't enough to secure the victory. ## Both contenders scaled the top turnbuckle, with Moxley countering Hardy's Twist of Fate attempts. After a back rake, Moxley executed a superplex. In a back-and-forth exchange, Hardy blocked a Twist of Fate, but Moxley retaliated with an Ace Crusher. Despite a resilient counter from Hardy with a side Russian legsweep, Moxley emerged victorious with a bodyscissors sleeper hold, prompting a referee stoppage and declaring him the winner. ## WINNER: Jon Moxley ## After the match, Moxley offers sportsmanship with a handshake, but Jeff defiantly flips him off. The drama continues as Hechicero, Mistico, Volador Jr., and Mascara Dorada launch a brutal attack on Moxley. Amid the chaos, the locker room empties out. ## The Blackpool Combat Club is absent, but wrestlers like Christopher Daniels, Matt Sydal, and 2.0 rush to the ring to rescue Moxley.
