Los Angeles, April 26 - Vin Diesel-fronted 11th and the final film in Fast and Furious franchise will be released worldwide in 2025. The release date was announced at CinemaCon 2023 where it was confirmed that the second part of Fast X will hit screens two years from now on. ## Vin Diesel previously told in an interview that there are plans the release the final two "Fast and Furious" movies back-to-back with the target release date being 02/23 for the first one and 02/24 for the second one. However, the production for "Fast and Furious 11" is yet to begin. It will be directed by Fast X's Louis Leterrier, with Birds of Prey's Christina Hodson and Mortal Kombat's Oren Uziel penning the script.## Meanwhile, the next and penultimate installment in this blockbuster franchise, "Fast X", is scheduled to be released next month, on May 20. In the film, Dominic Toretto must protect his crew and family from Cipher, who now joins forces with Dante Reyes, the son of drug lord Hernan Reyes, seeking revenge for his father's death. ## It will see the return of Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Ludacris, Tyrese Gibson, Jordana Brewster, Nathalie Emmanuel, Charlize Theron, Helen Mirren, Sung Kang, Michael Rooker, and Scott Eastwood. Mumbai, April 22 - The sequel to F9 and the eleventh full-length film in the Fast & Furious franchise, Fast X is gearing up for its release on May 19 this year. ## Directed by Louis Leterrier, "Fast X" serves as the penultimate main installment in the franchise as Dominic Toretto and his family are getting ready for the last hurray. Over the last two decades, "Fast & Furious" has left a huge mark on worldwide audiences with the high-octane adrenaline-pumping actioners. ## It has been one of the most successful Hollywood film franchises with over $6.6 billion worldwide box office across the previous 10 films. Domestically (North America), the franchise has generated $1.86 billion with "Furious 7" (2015) being the highest-grossing film with $353 million domestically and $1.51 billion worldwide. ## The last film in the series "F9: The Fast Saga" (2021) grossed $726 million worldwide, including $173 million domestically during the covid-19 pandemic. Los Angeles, May 2 - A few days ago, "Fast & Furious" director Justin Lin had walked out from the franchise's next installation, "Fast X", which has already commenced filming. While not giving reasons behind his decision, Lin announced that he will, however, remain involved with the project as a producer.## Now, according to nydailynews, Justin Lin quit as director of "Fast & Furious 10" because star Vin Diesel is so difficult. "Diesel shows up late to the set. He doesn't know his lines. And he shows up out of shape. Los Angeles, May 25, 2021: Hollywood actor and wrestler, John Cena posted a video on Tuesday (May 25) in which he apologized to fans in China for calling Taiwan a country. The "Fast & Furious 9" star referred to Taiwan as a country during a promotional interview of the F9 movie, according to The Hollywood Reporter. ## Cena made the Taiwan comment in an interview with the Taiwanese broadcaster TVBS where he reportedly said, "Taiwan is the first country that can watch F9". Los Angeles, April 27 (IANS) Hollywood star Vin Diesel has claimed that he is trying to "mitigate a war" between Universal Studios and the "prejudiced" Producers Guild of America.## The actor wasn't active on Instagram for some time, and he returned on Sunday to explain the reason behind his absence. He shared a bizarre poster for his upcoming "Fast & Furious" movie, titled "F9", along with a mention of a "war" between Universal Studios and the Producers Guild of America, reports dailymail.co.uk.## "Happy creative Sunday everyone... sorry I haven't posted much lately, I have been trying to mitigate a war between Universal studios and the p.g.a. Prejudice guild of America," Diesel posted.## He also shared a photoshopped poster of "F9". The edited poster has a look of a Halloween movie with a jack-o-lantern and a dark house in the background.## According to dailymail.co.uk, the poster was actually designed by an Instagram user dubbed as Mommy Torretto, a photo editor whose Instagram is filled with "Fast & Furious" poster parodies.## The reason behind Diesel using the poster in his post is unclear. While Diesel did crop out the bottom featuring the old release date and Universal Pictures logo, the Made by Mommy Torretto watermark is still visible on the poster.## With regard to Diesel's cryptic post, there is no indication why he is referring to the Producers Guild of America as the Prejudice Guild of America.## Diesel has been a part of the franchise since the beginning, starring in 2001's "The Fast and the Furious". He was not in 2003's "2 Fast 2 Furious" had a cameo in 2006's "The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift". He returned to the franchise to star in 2009's "Fast & Furious", and also backed the project as a producer.## The ninth installment is more of a personal affair for Diesel's Dominic Toretto as he has to face off with his brother, Jakob, played by John Cena. "F9: The Fast Saga" sees the return of Justin Lin as director, who helmed the third, fourth, fifth, and sixth chapters of the series.
