Mumbai, August 18, 2021: And the day is finally here. After dealing with the covid-19 pandemic for nearly two years, Bollywood is all set to welcome the first biggie in form of Akshay Kumar starrer "Bell Bottom", on the big screen. The spy thriller movie, which went through a lot of speculations of its OTT release in the last few months, finally releases in theaters on August 19 worldwide, also in 3D. ## Directed by Ranjit M Tewari, Bell Bottom is inspired by a real-life hijacking of an Indian Airlines flight in 1984 during Indira Gandhi's tenure as PM of India. Akshay Kumar plays a RAW agent in the film who was sent on a secret mission to rescue the 210 hostages. Bell Bottom is the codename of Akshay in the film. The movie also features Vaani Kapoor, Lara Dutta, Huma Qureshi, and Adil Hussain in key roles. ## On Wednesday (August 18), Bell Bottom producers held a special screening in INOX for the media persons in Surat. Mumbai, May 27, 2021: Kamaal R Khan, who starred in the film Deshdrohi, put out a series of tweets on Wednesday alleging that the Bollywood actor Salman Khan has filed a defamation case against him for reviewing his recently released film, Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai. ## Now, DSK Legal - the official advocates for Mr. Salman Khan and Salman Khan Ventures have issued a statement regarding the matter. While the legal team of Salman accepts that they have sent a legal notice to KRK, it is not for reviewing Radhe but defaming the actor's image from the last several months just to draw his attention. ## "Mr. Kamaal R Khan, the Defendant, has put out a series of tweets and videos alleging that Mr. Salman Khan has sued him for defamation because the Defendant reviewed the film, Radhe. This is incorrect", their statement reads (according to Box Office Worldwide).## "The suit has been filed as the Defendant has been publishing and endorsing defamatory allegations, including that Mr. Salman Khan is corrupt, that he and his brand Being Human are involved in fraud, manipulation, and money laundering transactions. Defendant has been spreading malicious falsehoods and defaming Mr. Salman Khan consistently over several months, clearly with a view to draw attention to himself", the statement further stated. ## KRK, on May 25, shared the legal notice on the microblogging site, Twitter, and said that Salman sued him for reviewing his film. However, for the change, the OTT platforms, Zeeplex, and Zee5 along with overseas theaters came to life with the release of this big mass entertainer after a long time. ## Radhe, which was held back for a theatrical release for more than a year, couldn't avert the inevitable because of the pandemic. The movie, which finally saw a release on May 13 on the occasion of Eid, went for a hybrid release - the first of its kind of release in India. The official remake of the Hindi movie "Pink", Vakeel Saab marks the comeback for PSPK in cinema after almost 3 years. Telugu movie "Wild Dog" starring Nagarjuna Akkineni, Saiyami Kher, Dia Mirza, and Atul Kulkarni released worldwide on April 2nd.
