Mumbai, July 6 - Actor Ayushmann Khurrana's action thriller Anek was the most-watched Indian movie worldwide in the last week on Netflix. The Anubhav Sinha-directed film was made available on Netflix on June 26 after a disappointing box office run. ## "Anek" scored 4.9 million hours watched in the week (June 27 - July 3), and was the second most-watched non-English film worldwide. It was also trending in the top 10 in 14 countries, including number 1 in India and Bangladesh. ## Meanwhile, Kartik Aaryan's Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 continued to remain in the top 10 most-watched non-English films worldwide for the 3rd consecutive week. It scored 3.69 million viewing hours last week and was the second most-watched Indian title and 3rd overall on Netflix. BB2 has overall scored 20.1 million watched hours in 17 days. ## On the other hand, SS Rajamouli's epic box office blockbuster is still grabbing attention on the streamer and remained in the top 10 for the 7th consecutive week. Mumbai, July 6 - Netflix has its second billion hours watched show as Stranger Things 4 has surpassed this rare milestone after the final two episodes.## The final two episodes dropped on July 1st as a part of Volume 2 of "Stranger Things 4" helped the show to pull in another 301.2 million viewing hours last week, including approx. 220 million watched hours of episodes 8 & 9. The total watched hours of this sci-fi horror drama series has now reached 1.15 billion. ## "Stranger Things 4" is the most-watched only show on Netflix and the second most for any language. It is also only the second show ever to cross 1 billion viewing hours on Netflix, after Korean global hit "Squid Game", which clocked 1.6 billion watched hours in its first 28 days. ## The Duffer Brothers-created series was the most-watched show for the week (June 27 - July 3) and it is only expected to rise over the next three and a half weeks. However, "Squid Game's" record is looking like a far cry as "Stranger Things 4" is unlikely to reach that target. ## The season finale of ST4 is one of the most intense episodes yet of the series. It ended on an emotional note, leaving enough scope for the final season of the series to go bang bang. Duffer Brothers recently revealed in an interview that they will start writing the final season in September this year. Mumbai, July 2 - Netflix's global hit series Stranger Things 4 has set a new weekly streaming record in the USA, according to Nielsen Streaming Content Ratings. Season 4 of this science fiction horror drama series has already become the most-watched English series on Netflix with over 930 million viewing hours. ## According to Nielsen, "Stranger Things" scored 7.2 billion viewing minutes for the week of May 30-June 5, which is the highest weekly total for any streaming title since the advent of weekly rankings almost two years ago. ## Nielsen counts all episodes of a series in totaling its streaming rankings, but it is certain that the majority of the 7.2 billion minutes of "Stranger Things" came from the seven episodes of season four released on May 27. ## "Stranger Things" series also has the biggest two-week tally for any streaming show with 12.34 billion viewing minutes. It was watched for 5.14 billion (including more than 75% from S4) minutes in the week of May 23 - May 29. The series was watched for 286.8 million hours on the opening weekend, followed by 335 million viewing hours in the week of May 30 - June 5. ## The seven-episode Part 1 of "Stranger Things 4" remained the most-watched Netflix title from June 6 to June 12 worldwide with 159.24 million viewing hours.
