Sunny Deol's 'Border 2' Officially Announced

Mumbai, June 13 - Filmmaker J. P. Dutta has joined hands with producer Bhushan Kumar of T-Series to announce the sequel to War epic Border. The movie was announced on the 27th anniversary of the first movie which is one of the biggest Indian blockbusters ever. ## Sunny Deol, who scored a mega-blockbuster with Gadar 2 last year, will be returning to reprise his role as Maj. Kuldip Singh Chandpuri in Border 2 which will be directed by Anurag Singh and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, JP Dutta, and Nidhi Dutta under the banners of T-Series and JP Films. ## The blockbuster sequel has been in the news since last and the makers finally made it official. Director R Balki Reveals Why He Cast Shreya Dhanwanthary In 'Chup'

Mumbai, September 19 - Shreya Dhanwanthary, who has worked in the acclaimed web series "The Family Man" and "Scam 1992", is all set to headline director R. Balki's psychological thriller Chup: Revenge of the Artist with Sunny Deol, Dulqueer Salmaan, and Pooja Bhatt in the leading roles. ## Shreya has proved over the last few years how brilliant an actress she is and that was the reason he got cast in "Chup", according to the director Balki. The actress plays the role of Nila, the love interest of Salmaan's character in the movie. ## Speaking about casting Shreya in the film, the renowned filmmaker said, "Shreya is a volcanic talent. Mumbai, August 25 - Director R Balki has finalized the release date of Sunny Deol and Dulquer Salmaan's Chup: Revenge of the Artist. The psychological thriller film that also stars Shreya Dhanwanthary and Pooja Bhatt as the female leads will be released worldwide on September 23, 2022. ## Billed as an homage to master filmmaker Guru Dutt and his 1959 classic "Kaagaz Ke Phool", - "Chup" is produced by Rakesh Jhunjhunwala, Anil Naidu, Dr. Jayantilal Gada (PEN Studios), and Gauri Shinde. The actor currently shooting for Balki's edge-of-the-seat thriller alongside Dulquer Salmaan, Pooja Bhatt, and Shreya Dhanwanthary. ## After completing the ongoing project, Sunny will move to Balki's next film, which is said to be a family drama. The movie will also reportedly feature Revathi as Sunny's wife along with Shruti Haasan as their daughter. Balki zeroed in on two diametrically different subjects – a thriller and a family drama. ## Both the projects have been planned to shoot in quick time. The yet-to-be-titled psychological thriller is written by R Balki and co-written by Rishi Virmani and Raja Sen. NCPCR Asks Netflix To Stop Streaming New Series 'Bombay Begums'

The leading streaming platforms are having tough times in dealing with new content from the last couple of months. After a controversy over the Tandav series, Amazon Prime Video was recently directed by the Bombay High Court to take down the Telugu movie, "V" over a complaint filed by actress Sakshi Malik. ## Now, Netflix has also become a subject to streaming objectionable content. This time, an Indian government agency for protecting child rights has asked Netflix to immediately stop streaming its new drama series "Bombay Begums" after it reviewed complaints around scenes showing children consuming drugs. ## In a letter to Netflix on Thursday, the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) asked the streaming giant to investigate the matter and submit a report within 24 hours or face further action. The NCPCR notice referred to a tweet where a user objected to a scene showing "minors having cocaine".## "The series with this type of content will not only pollute the young minds of children, and may also result in abuse and exploitation of children", the NCPCR notice said.## Released this week, "Bombay Begums" is a series about five women from different parts of society trying to get ahead in modern Mumbai, formerly called Bombay.
