The filmmaker took to Instagram and re-shared a video of Krishna's entry scene from Kalki, 2898 AD, captioning it, "You can't change what happened, but you can choose what happens next." The actress has been dropped from Prabhas-fronted highly-awaited epic sci-fi Kalki 2, which is scheduled to go on floors next year. The makers issued a statement announcing the actress's departure from the film. While the makers didn't reveal the clear reasons, the statement seemingly addressed the lack of commitment by the actress towards the film. Deepika will now be replaced by another actress, who is yet to be confirmed. Meanwhile, according to the report by Bollywood Hungama, the unreasonable demands of the Pathaan actress were the reason has been dropped from the film. It is said that Deepika demanded a 25% increment on the acting fees she was paid for the first part of the film. She also demanded only 7 hours of work a day. Given that Kalki 2898 AD is a VFX-heavy film, such short shoots were likely to shoot up the budget by a reasonable amount. The Bollywood Hungama report further stressed that the producers were ready to provide a luxury vanity to Deepika, in return for longer shoot hours, and also tried to negotiate finances, given that even Prabhas had not asked for an increment in fees, but she and her team refused to adjust on either. In a recent interaction, Vanga hinted that Spirit could be his shortest film to date in terms of runtime. During a talk show called Jayammu Nischayammu Raa on Zee5, SRV was asked about what the theatrical runtime of Spirit would be by host Jagapathi Babu. The blockbuster director, who is teaming up with Prabhas for the first time, revealed that he would make sure that the runtime remains below 3 hours. The film was already facing a delay, and now, the legal hurdle will further complicate things. ## Delhi-based Ivy Entertainment has filed a case in the Delhi High Court against co-producer People Media Factory (PMF). The production house claims it invested a staggering 218 crore for theatrical and non-theatrical rights, co-presenter credits, and guaranteed returns. ## According to reports, Ivy Entertainment alleged that PMF failed to fulfil several critical commitments, including completing and releasing the film within the agreed timeline, monthly production updates, disclosing how funds were being utilised, delivering agreed materials, and postponing the theatrical release without justification. ## The company has reportedly demanded either a full refund of 218 crores with 18% annual interest or control of the project to complete and release the film themselves to safeguard its substantial investment.
