Hyderabad, November 7 - Pan India superstar Prabhas has signed a ground-breaking three-film deal with the leading Kannada production house Hombale Films. This deal does not include Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire which was released last year and emerged as a box-office success. ## The 3-film deal will kick off with Salaar 2 which will be released in 2026. Directed by Prashanth Neel, the production of the film has already commenced and the remaining portions will be shot next year. The details about the other two films are not revealed yet except that they will be released in 2027 and 2028. ## However, there are rumours in the Telugu media that Prabhas will up with director Prasanth Varma and Tamil director Lokesh Kanagaraj for a film each which will be produced by Hombale Films. Hyderabad, October 24 - The motion poster of Pan India superstar Prabhas-fronted upcoming horror-comedy The Raja Saab was launched on his birthday on October 23 and it received a sensational response as far as viewership is concerned. ## The film, directed by Maruthi, is one of the most-awaited Pan India movies of 2025, thanks to Prabhas who is arguably the biggest movie star in India currently. The makers of TRS treated the fans of Prabhas with the motion poster which, even though received mixed reception broke viewership records. ## The motion poster generated 6.70 million views in the first 24 hours on YouTube which is a record for a Telugu movie motion poster. Hyderabad, October 9 - One of the biggest Indian blockbusters of the year, Pan India superstar Prabhas-fronted sci-fi action drama Kalki 2898 AD is gearing up for its release in Japan and other international territories with Russia and China in the consideration. ## According to Variety, Nag Ashwin directed Kalki 2898 AD will be released in Japanese cinemas in early 2025 through Twin, the distribution company headed by industry veteran Kabata Keizo. The studio previously released SS Rajamouli's directorial RRR which is currently the highest-grossing Indian title in Japan. ## Prabhas is a popular Indian star in Japan. His Baahubali 2 and Saaho are among the highest-grossing Indian titles in the anime country. If Kalki 2898 AD gets a positive reception, it can repeat the success of those movies. ## Apart from Japan, Kalki is also set for a Russian release, with a dubbed version expected to hit theatres in the coming months. Mumbai, September 29 - Recently, Bollywood actor Arshad Warsi ignited a controversy after commenting on the characterization of Prabhas in the magnum opus Kalki 2898 AD. While the movie was a massive box office success, Warsi said that he didn't like Prabhas's look or the movie. ## "Maine Kalki dekhi, mujhe toh nhi acchi lagi. It is the highest-grossing Indian movie of 2024 and one of the highest-grossers of all time.## Directed by Nag Ashwin, Kalki 2898 AD was released on June 27 amid huge anticipation and it didn't disappoint by scoring positive reception which was enough for it to set the box office on fire. The movie opened to a historic collection of over 175 crores worldwide and never looked back since then. ## Kalki has the biggest opening for an Indian movie of 2024 and the third biggest of all time after RRR and Baahubali. The movie proved to be a sensational blockbuster in the Hindi version which outgrossed its original Telugu version collection. ## The movie missed the milestone of 300 crore net collection in Hindi but did well enough to emerge as the third biggest South Indian grosser in the dubbed version after Baahubali 2 and KGF: Chapter 2 with approximately 293 crore net collection. Mumbai, September 11 - Sci-fi epic Kalki 2898 AD, starring Pan India superstar Prabhas, is one of the biggest hits of the year in the Hindi language. Directed by Nag Ashwin, the movie scored approximately 294 crores net collection in the dubbed version and is currently the second biggest of 2024. ## Kalki 2898 AD was sold to Netflix for the post-theatrical streaming of the Hindi version at a handsome price. Given the fantastic box office performance, it was expected to be a big success for the streamer, however, the response so far has been underwhelming as far as the Hindi version is concerned. ## The movie debuted on Netflix with a promising viewership of 4.5 million views in the opening weekend. Hyderabad, August 30 - Pan India superstar Prabhas-fronted sci-fi epic Kalki 2898 AD, directed by Nag Ashwin, has been a massive box office success and the way it concluded has increased the excitement for its sequel to the next level, however, there is a catch. ## While the buzz around Kalki 2 is at an all-time high, the producers have confirmed that the movie won't be hitting the big screens until 2028. ## Producers and sister duo Priyanka Dutt and Swapna Dutt of Vyjayanthi Movies were present at the screening of Kalki 2898 AD at the Moscow Film Festival where they said that the filming of Kalki 2 will start in the next five or six months, around January or February 2025.
