Mumbai, Jan 20 (IANS) The 2018 Telugu film ‘Rangasthalam starring Ram Charan is all set to release in Hindi in theatres next month.## Noted producer Manish Shah is planning the release to bring some respite for the cinema owners and to end the dry spell caused by the Covid pandemic.## A Sukumar directorial, ‘Rangasthalam' was a colossal success at the time of its release and was the Telugu film industry's biggest hit in 2018. The film is scheduled to release for Hindi audiences in February.## Several exhibitors have welcomed the decision to release the film. Mumbai, January 19 - Bollywood superstar Salman Khan to team up with Telugu megastar Chiranjeevi in the upcoming Telugu film, "God Father", which is the remake of Malayalam hit "Lucifer". It will be the first time when two superstars of their respective industries will share the screen space. Salman Khan will shoot for his portion towards the end of this month. ## Meanwhile, Salman Khan will also lend his support in promoting Chiranjeevi's much-awaited "Acharya", which is slated to release on April 1st. Allu Arjun's recently released "Pushpa - The Rise" became a massive hit in Hindi at the box office. Following the success of "Pushpa", Manish Shah of Goldmines Films announced theatrical release Allu Arjun's 2020 blockbuster "Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo" in Hindi on January 26. ## Now, according to reports, Manish Shah is planning to release more South Indian films in Hindi dubbed version the make full use of the next few weeks due to no fresh Bollywood content. According to Pinkvilla, Manish Shah and his team gearing up for the Hindi release of Ram Charan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu's 2018 blockbuster "Rangasthalam". ## Directed by Sukumar, "Rangasthalam" is considered one of the finest films of Ram Charan, which received both critical and commercial acknowledgment. Hyderabad, January 16 - Megastar Chiranjeevi, and Ram Charan's much-awaited "Acharya" has been postponed to April 1st, 2022 due to the 3rd covid-19 wave. The makers had announced the postponement of "Acharya" on January 15, and a day later, the action thriller gets a new release date on April 1st. It was supposed to release on February 4. ## The April 1st release of "Acharya" means Mahesh Babu's "Sarkaru Vaaru Paata" will be postponed as speculated earlier. SVP, which is currently slated for April 1st, is yet to be completed and is unlikely to meet the April 1st deadline. It was recently reported that the makers now looking for an August 5, 2022, release for this mega-budget film. ## "Acharya", meanwhile, has already been postponed multiple times. It was originally slated for April 29, 2021, release, but was postponed to February 2022. Mumbai, Jan 9 (IANS) Telugu superstar and producer Ram Charan, whose upcoming release 'RRR' has been postponed till further notice, states that big releases play a vital role in regulating the economy of the film industry.## The big-budget films not only generate employment but also make sure that people working at the lower rung of the crew get paid well.## The actor recently spoke with IANS over the importance of star value for a film, the need for big-ticket releases, and the evolution of his working equation with filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli from 'Magadheera' to 'RRR'.## Elaborating on the hardwiring of star value with a film, the actor said, "The aspect of star value is only to bring the masses to the theatres. Post that the story takes over and the story has the responsibility to talk and make the audience sit in the theatre".## Laying down the framework of commercial potboilers vis a vis the film industry, the producer opines, "Every film has its own role to play the business part of the entire industry but these (big releases) are the films that bring glory back to the theatres. Not differentiating between the OTT films or theatre films but on the whole, all these (spectacle) films have their own part to play. Their numbers and their economy are integral to not just the industry but also to the government in the form of taxes".## Ask him how his working with Rajamouli has changed over the years, and he quips, "As actors, we evolve with every year, there has been a sea change especially since the last decade. S.S. Rajamouli has evolved multifold and just to work with such a person, who knows what he exactly wants from us, is a pleasure".## A filmmaker with clarity of thought at the helm is a blessing for any artiste working on a film set, "Our job gets so much easier when we are working with someone, who is so sure about what he's making. Rajamouli film, is a learning curve where he becomes a student imbibing the creative energy of his director at every instance.## The actor, who has worked with Rajamouli in the 2009 hit 'Magadheera' and the upcoming film 'RRR', said, "I always say I am not an actor going into a Rajamouli film, I am a student who is going into a Rajamouli film. Mumbai, January 1 - Bollywood star Ranveer Singh is winning accolades for the portrayal of the legendary cricketer Kapil Dev in the recently released "83" film. The Kabir Khan-directed, which is based on India's maiden ODI world cup triumph in 1983, is currently playing in theaters and nearing Rs. 150 crores at the worldwide box office. ## Ranveer Singh is one of the young Bollywood actors who has worked with some of the finest Bollywood directors in his little over a decade-long career. The 36-year old actor, however, has a desire to work with South Indian filmmakers and is fascinated by Southern films. He named some of his most favorite South Indian films - Mahanati, Super Deluxe, Kumbalangi Nights, Magadheera, among others. ## The "Padmaavat" actor in an interview with Film Companion revealed that he was approached for the Hindi remake of SS Rajamouli's blockbuster "Magadheera", starring Ram Charan in the lead role. While he didn't name the filmmaker he was approached by, Ranveer said that the filmmaker tried to remake Magadheera with him, but things didn't work out. ## "I wanted to do Magadheera for the longest time. Reincarnation is my jam! Magadheera has just such a cinematic flair. Somebody was trying to remake it with me. They gave me a VCD of Magadheera. Watching it in my room alone in the early hours one morning and I was crying and clapping. It's three in the morning and I’m alone in bed watching it on my television screen", said Ranveer. ## "That's the setting and I still find myself reacting so much to it. It was, at the time, one of the best cinematic experiences. I would have loved for the Magadheera remake to have worked out, but it didn't. But never say never. I am very interested in doing something with the reincarnation theme", he added. ## Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh will be teaming up with "Robot" director Shankar with the Hindi remake of "Anniyan". It will also feature Kiara Advani as the female lead and will be produced by Pen Studios and co-produced by God Bless Entertainment. The movie will go on floors in the second half of 2022. ## Apart from the "Anniyan" remake, Ranveer currently has three films in the pipeline. His "Jayeshbhai Jordaar" with debutante director Divyang Thakkar is slated for February 25, 2022, release. It features "Arjun Reddy" fame Shalini Pandey as the female lead.
