Mumbai, December 9 - Filmmaker SS Rajamouli returns with his period action drama "RRR". The visionary filmmaker set the box office records on fire with Prabhas-fronted "Baahubali - The Conclusion" and his vision is now set to take "RRR" a notch higher. The trailer of the film was unveiled on December 9 and has blockbuster written all over it. ## Meanwhile, the makers held a Trailer launch event in Mumbai, in which, director SS Rajamouli, Jr. NTR, Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, producer D. V. V. Danayya, and Jayantilal Gada interacted with the media and answered interesting questions.## While the movie is scheduled to release in theaters on January 7, 2022, in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada, everyone is wondering when it will be available on digital platforms. Since a lot of films are opting for OTT premiere after getting a short theatrical window due to the covid-19, the media asked the RRR makers if they also have similar plans. ## However, putting the record straight, Dr. Jayantilal Gada of Pen Studios, who is the distributing partner of RRR in North India, said that RRR won't be coming to OTT before 75-90 days. With high box office potential, it was always meant to have a longer theatrical window. ## "RRR" has been delayed on multiple occasions due to the pandemic which halted the shoot not once but twice. Hyderabad, November 29 - Telugu superstar Ram Charan is currently in the top position of his career with three big projects. He is one of the leads with Jr. NTR in director SS Rajamouli's "RRR", due a January 7, 2022 release. It is perhaps the biggest film of his career and one of the biggest in Indian cinema. ## Charan then has Koratala Siva's "Acharya", in which he shares screen space with his father, megastar Chiranjeevi. The shoot is completed and the movie is scheduled to release on February 4, 2022. Made on a lavish budget, "RRR" is poised to be the widest ever release at the worldwide box office for an Indian film. ## Rajamouli's last film "Baahubali 2 The Conclusion", which is the second highest-grossing Indian film at the worldwide box office and highest in India, was released in over 6500 theaters worldwide, which is a record for an Indian film. On the morning of Dussehra (October 15), the Yavudu actor announced his collaboration with Jersey fame Gowtam Tinnanuri for his next film, tentatively titled RC16 (i.e. 16th film of the actor). ## And now, Ram Charan has hinted about his one more project and that too with KGF and Salaar director Prashanth Neel. Hyderabad, October 10 - Power Star Pawan Kalyan, Megastar Chiranjeevi as well as other leading Tollywood actors including Nagarjuna, Balakrishna, Ram Charan, among others cast their votes on Sunday (October 10) to elect new office-bearers of the Movie Artists Association (MAA), the apex body of the Telugu film industry. ## MAA members were voting to elect a 26-member executive comprising the president, general secretary, two joint secretaries, treasurer, and 18 committee members. Actor-producer Vishnu Manchu and actor Prakash Raj are the two contenders battling for the post of MAA president. ## Polling, which began at 8 AM at the Jubilee Hills Public School, was progressing smoothly. It was to end at 2 PM but was extended by an hour by the election officer, Krishna Mohan. There are a total of 925 MAA members and out of them, 883 members are eligible to cast their votes. Of them, 665 had cast their ballots. The counting is likely to continue till 8 PM, when the results are slated to be declared.## Retired employees of the Telangana Cooperative Society made elaborate arrangements for the polling in adherence with Covid-19 protocols. As many as 50 policemen and women were deployed as part of the security measures. The two parties have had a friendly camaraderie on the polling day as the two contenders battling for the post of MAA president shook hands and embraced each other to declare that they are all one. ## Actor-politician Pawan Kalyan was one of the first to cast his votes. Talking to reporters, the Jana Sena president declined to name the panel he votes for. He said MAA elections would have no bearing on the friendship between his brother Chiranjeevi and Mohan Babu. Pawan said the film industry will not split due to MAA polls.## Megastar and MAA founding president Chiranjeevi said he had cast his vote as per his conscience. He said that whenever the MAA elections were held, the same acrimony was witnessed and called for putting an end to it. Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi's brother Naga Babu told reporters that he cast his vote for the Prakash Raj panel. ## Genelia D'Souza, who had been staying away from Telugu films following her marriage to Bollywood actor Ritesh Deshmukh, also came to Hyderabad to cast her vote. The team of this magnum opus film recently concluded the filming after being in production for nearly three years.
