After 'RRR', ZEE5 Announces World Digital Premiere of John Abraham Sci-Fi Actioner 'Attack - Part 1'

Mumbai, May 14 - John Abraham's sci-fi actioner, Attack - Part 1 is coming to ZEE5 after completing its theatrical run. Directed by Lakshya Raj Anand, Attack was released in theaters on April 1st and eventually bombed at the box office despite its new concept. ## ZEE5, which is one of the fastest-growing streaming platforms in India, bought the post-theatrical streaming rights of the movie. On Saturday (May 14), ZEE5 announced the world digital premiere of Attack on May 27th, 8 weeks after its theatrical release. ## The movie, produced by AK Productions and Pen India Limited, also stars Jacqueline Fernandez and Rakul Preet Singh as the female lead alongside Prakash Raj and Ratna Pathak Shah in supporting roles. Earlier, the streamer confirmed the premiere date of SS Rajamouli's global blockbuster, RRR. The movie, which stars Jr. NTR, Ram Charan, Alia Bhatt, and Ajay Devgn, will stream on the platform on May 20th in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam versions. Mumbai, April 16 - Bollywood star Ranveer Singh is gearing up for the release of the Yash Raj Production, Jayeshbhai Jordaar. Directed by debutante Divyang Thakkar, the movie is touted to be a unique subject that has enough comic moments along with a strong social message. ## Yash Raj Films recently reportedly held a special screening in Mumbai in which it got anonymous thundering applause from the viewers. "I think it's safe for me to say that Ranveer has delivered the performance of a lifetime. It's one for the ages. Something that will set him apart from his contemporaries because only he could have brought Jayeshbhai to life in this endearing and soulful manner", Producer Maneesh Sharma said after the screening. ## Meanwhile, with less than a month to go for the release of Jayeshbhai Jordaar, the makers are finally planning to release the trailer to start the promotional activities. Mumbai, March 31 - Bollywood star Ranveer Singh will next be seen in a social drama film "Jayeshbhai Jordaar", which marks "Arjun Reddy" actress, Shalini Pandey's Bollywood debut. The YRF production is touted to be a superhero film with a strong social message. It is directed by debutant Divyang Thakkar. ## Jayeshbhai Jordaar is scheduled to release on May 13 this year after getting delayed multiple times. Rajkummar Rao & Bhumi Pednekar Team Up For Anubhav Sinha's Social Drama 'Bheed'

Mumbai, October 27 - Anubhav Sinha's next hard-hitting social drama film, "Bheed" gets a talented lead cast on board. The movie was recently announced with Rajkummar Rao as the lead male hero of the film. And now, the makers have confirmed Bhumi Pednekar as the female leading lady opposite Rao. ## "Bheed" marks the second collaboration between Bhumi and Rao after the social comedy-drama film "Badhaai Do", which is yet to release. It is also the first time both the leading actors are teaming up with Anubhav Sinha, who is known for making groundbreaking films such as Article 15, Mulk, Thappad, Anek, among others. ## "Bheed" will jointly be produced by Bhushan Kumar's T-Series and Anubhav Sinha's Benaras Mediaworks. It will be shot across Lucknow and is expected to go on floors anytime post Diwali in November.## Bhumi said in a statement, "Being part of an Anubhav Sinha film is a matter of great honor and privilege. Anubhav Sinha turns abusive over 'Thappad' BO report, apologises

Mumbai, March 9 (IANS) A news report on the box office collection of his new film 'Thappad' incensed Anubhav Sinha so much that the filmmaker reacted with a barrage of filthy abuses on social media, before apologizing for his outburst.## According to the trade website koimoi.com, "Thappad" collected Rs 22.79 crore in its first week, and a web portal reported the film's box office show saying: "Audience gives TIGHT SLAP To #Thappad."## Sinha obviously wasn't pleased with such language and he took to social media to express his ire.## "And I love you too... in har*****don ne filmon ka kotha bana diya hai (these b**tards have turned filmmaking into brothel business). Last I checked it was an art form. My money. My movie. My profit. My loss. Who the f*ck are you? Have I issued any public shares? Have you bought any??? Go watch the film. Like it. Hate it. Your call," Sinha tweeted.## The director further wrote: "These motherf***rs seem to get my collections before me. Just for general awareness I get my collections in 2-3 days. Before that whatever they put out is sheer speculation and their sweet desire."## Sinha realised his behaviour wasn't right when a few people on Twitter called him out for inappropriate social media conduct. He apologised for his outburst to the ladies, elders and children on his timeline.## "My apologies for my language ladies. Sincerely. It is the love of those 150 people who made Thappad for the film that was being disrespected that shot me off. Apologies to all women and elders and younger ones on my timeline.
