Box Office: 'Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha' and 'Ulajh' Head For Low Opening

Mumbai, August 1 - The first collaboration between Bollywood star Ajay Devgn and acclaimed director Neeraj Pandey, a romantic thriller Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha is finally hitting the big screens on August 2. The movie also features Tabu, Saiee Manjrekar, and Shantanu Maheshwari in key roles. ## Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha was one of the most anticipated movies at the time of its announcement in October 2022 but with just a few hours left for the release, there is hardly any buzz for the movie despite the involvement of the top names in it and multiple delays. ## There have been many films, featuring known stars over the last few years which shockingly scored low openings and as things stand currently, AMKDT is heading for the same fate. The pre-sales of the movie are extremely poor, as expected, in the lines of Akshay Kumar's Selfiee. ## As far as the domestic box office opening of the movie is concerned, things are not looking good with the expected start in the range of 2-3 crores. A lot will depend on word of mouth, but even the positive reception is unlikely to change much as there is very little room for the movie to score due to its subject and tight competition with new as well as strong holdovers.## With AMKDT, there is Janhvi Kapoor-fronted thriller Ulajh is releasing on August 2nd and despite the well-received trailer, the movie has failed to generate any sort of buzz. As for box office prospects of Ulajh, things are looking even worse than the Ajay Devgn-fronted.## Depending on word of mouth and walk-ups, Ulajh is heading to take the opening in the range of 1-2 crores net, which is one of the lowest of the year. Mumbai, July 6 - Bollywood stars Ajay Devgn and Tabu's Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha has been announced to release on August 2, 2024. Hyderabad, September 29 - Telugu star Ram Pothineni and director Boyapati Sreenu's maiden collaboration Skanda has had a very good start at the domestic as well as the worldwide box office. The movie eventually scored the biggest opening for the actor, beating the previous record-holder "iSmart Shankar". ## The action drama film scored 14.50 crores gross on domestic opening day, including 13.50 crores gross in two Telugu states (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana). The AP-TG share collection of the movie is 8.62 crores, which is the highest for Ram Pothineni. "iSmart Shankar" had approximately 7.70 crores AP-TG share collection.## The AP-TG opening of "Skanda" is the 4th biggest among tier-2 Telugu actors, after "Dasara", "Kushi", and "Liger". Overseas, "Skanda" grossed approximately 2 crores for 16.50 crores worldwide on opening day. Ajay Devgn-Tabu's 'Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha' To Clash With Salman Khan's 'Tiger 3'?

Mumbai, March 26 - Bollywood star Ajay Devgn is gearing up for the release of his much-awaited action thriller Bholaa which arrives on March 30. Apart from playing the title role, Ajay has also directed and produced this entertainer which is the adaptation of the Tamil movie "Kaithi".## After the release of "Bholaa", the actor will directly head to director Neeraj Pandey's romantic thriller Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha and will resume filming in April. It has Tabu, who is also in "Bholaa", as the female lead along with Jimmy Shergill and Saiee Manjrekar in a prominent roles. ## Meanwhile, producer Shreyans Hirawat of NH Studioz has reportedly revealed that they are planning to release the film on Diwali 2023. He stated that the principal filming will be wrapped up by May as they gear up to release it this year. ## Though the makers haven't fixed a release date yet, AMKDT might clash with Salman Khan-fronted mega movie "Tiger 3" which is already slated for Diwali 2023 release. However, it is highly unlikely that both movies will arrive on the same day but it now remains to be seen if Ajay Devgn-fronted clashes with Tiger 3 or does it release a few weeks before or after Diwali.## Produced by Shital Bhatia, Narendra Hirawat, Reliance Entertainment, and Kumar Mangat Pathak, the movie is an epic romantic drama with elements of thrill spanning 20 years and is set between 2002 and 2023.
