Jaat 2: A Sequel To Sunny Deol's Action Drama Announced

Mumbai, April 17 - Sunny Deol's Jaat is getting a sequel with both the actor and director Gopichand Mallineni returning for their respective jobs. Mythri Movie Makers and People Media Factory will jointly produce it. ## Jaat is currently playing in theatres in its first week and is doing good office. So far, the movie has scored over 70 crores gross collection at the worldwide box office and is heading towards the 100 crores mark. It is Sunny Deol's first release since the mega blockbuster Gadar 2 in 2023. ## The action drama is the first time that Sunny Deol has teamed up with director Gopichand Mallineni, who has made his Bollywood debut with this film. Randeep Hooda plays the antagonist role while Regina Cassandra, Saiyami Kher, and Vineet Kumar Singh feature in key roles.## Mythri Movie Makers took to social media to confirm Jaat 2. Sunny Deol's 'Jaat' Censor Certificate And Theatrical Runtime Revealed

Mumbai, April 9 - After the historic success of Gadar 2, Sunny Deol has teamed up with Telugu director Gopichand Malineni for his next film Jaat. The movie, produced by Mythri Movie Makers and People Media Factory, is slated to hit the big screens on April 10. ## Ahead of the much-awaited release, the makers cleared the censorship formalities on April 8. The film has officially been censored with U/A (16+) by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) with an approved theatrical runtime of 2 hours and 33 minutes (153 minutes). ## As per reports, the CBFC has asked to make 22 changes, including replacing abusive words and replacing as many as 10 scenes with CGI. Due to changes, 2 minutes and 6 seconds of scenes were cut and replaced with appropriate visuals, totalling 1 minute and 37 seconds.## The official plot summary of Jaat reveals, "In a remote coastal village, ruthless criminal Varadaraja Ranatunga terrorizes the locals. A traveling stranger's chance encounter with his men uncovers the villagers' suffering. Realizing the deep-rooted corruption, he takes matters into his own hands. Armed with truth and justice, he sets out for a final confrontation with Ranatunga".## Jaat stars Sunny Deol in the title role alongside Regina Cassandra in the female lead and Randeep Hooda as the main antagonist. Sunny Deol's 'Jaat' Official Release Date Announced

Mumbai, January 24 - After the historic success of Gadar 2, Bollywood star Sunny Deol teamed up with Telugu director Gopichand Malineni for mass entertainer Jaat which is the director's maiden Bollywood project. Telugu giant Mythri Movie Makers produces the film with People Media Factory. ## On Friday (January 24), the makers announced the release date of this much-awaited action drama. It has been confirmed that Jaat will hit the big screen on April 10 this year in Hindi and the dubbed versions of Telugu and Tamil. ## It is to be noted that Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi's highly-awaited courtroom comedy drama Jolly LLB 3 is scheduled for an April 11 release and if things remain unchanged, it will be the second round of epic box office clash between Akshay and Sunny after 2023's Gadar 2 and OMG 2. ## The plot details of Jaat have been kept under wraps but it is said that Sunny will be up against 5 antagonists in the movie. Mumbai, December 5 - After the historic blockbuster success of Gadar 2, Bollywood star Sunny Deol will next be seen in Telugu director Gopichand Malineni's action drama Jaat and the teaser for the same has been launched exclusively in theatres with superstar Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2 - The Rule on December 5. ## The over-a-minute-long teaser is action-packed with seetmaar dialogues and it promises a solid follow to Gadar 2 for Sunny Deol. The makers have also confirmed that Jaat will be released in April 2025, however, the exact date is not revealed officially. ## Meanwhile, according to the report by Bollywood Hungama, Jaat will be released in cinemas on April 10, 2025. Director Gopichand Malineni Shares Details Into Sunny Deol's Character In SDGM

Mumbai, June 24 - Bollywood star Sunny Deol is in no mood to stop after testing blood with the mega-blockbuster success of Gadar 2 last year. The movie grossed close to 700 crores worldwide and became one of the biggest Indian blockbusters of all time. ## After Gadar 2, Sunny Deol has been on a signing spree and the latest movie he has signed is Telugu director Gopichand Malineni's mass entertainer, tentatively called SDGM (Sunny Deol, Gopichand Malineni). Produced by Mythri Movie Makers and People Media Factory, the shoot of the movie has already commenced for 2025 release. ## Sunny Deol will be playing a common man in the movie who takes on a powerful villain. Gopichand Malineni shared details about Sunny's role in a recent interview (via Mid-Day). The filmmaker also revealed that the story is inspired by many real-life incidents. ## "I'll present him in a never-before-seen action avatar. After Gadar 2 was released, I narrated the story to Sunny sir. He said yes immediately, adding that he was looking for this kind of role. Sunny sir doesn’t play a man in uniform. While it is the story of a common man who takes on [the system] to fight for what is right, it is an unusual concept", the Veera Simha Reddy director said. ## Adding further, Gopichand Malineni said that they have roped in three action directors as there are strong action set-pieces in this movie. Abhishek Bachchan, Nithya Menen's 'Breathe: Into The Shadows' Renewed For Season 2 At Amazon Prime Video

Mumbai, October 20 - Amazon Prime Video has renewed Abhishek Bachchan-led "Breathe: Into The Shadows" web show for season 2. The new season will see Nithya Menen, Amit Sadh, and Saiyami Kher reprising their roles from the first season with Naveen Kasturia joining the cast in a lead role. ## "Given the popularity and sheer anticipation around Breathe: Into The Shadows, a new season was imminent.
