The Final 'Fast and Furious' Movie Confirmed To Release Worldwide In 2025

Los Angeles, April 26 - Vin Diesel-fronted 11th and the final film in Fast and Furious franchise will be released worldwide in 2025. The release date was announced at CinemaCon 2023 where it was confirmed that the second part of Fast X will hit screens two years from now on. ## Vin Diesel previously told in an interview that there are plans the release the final two "Fast and Furious" movies back-to-back with the target release date being 02/23 for the first one and 02/24 for the second one. However, the production for "Fast and Furious 11" is yet to begin. It will be directed by Fast X's Louis Leterrier, with Birds of Prey's Christina Hodson and Mortal Kombat's Oren Uziel penning the script.## Meanwhile, the next and penultimate installment in this blockbuster franchise, "Fast X", is scheduled to be released next month, on May 20. In the film, Dominic Toretto must protect his crew and family from Cipher, who now joins forces with Dante Reyes, the son of drug lord Hernan Reyes, seeking revenge for his father's death. ## It will see the return of Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Ludacris, Tyrese Gibson, Jordana Brewster, Nathalie Emmanuel, Charlize Theron, Helen Mirren, Sung Kang, Michael Rooker, and Scott Eastwood. Box Office Projection For 'Fast and Furious 10' aka 'Fast X' Revealed

Mumbai, April 22 - The sequel to F9 and the eleventh full-length film in the Fast & Furious franchise, Fast X is gearing up for its release on May 19 this year. ## Directed by Louis Leterrier, "Fast X" serves as the penultimate main installment in the franchise as Dominic Toretto and his family are getting ready for the last hurray. Over the last two decades, "Fast & Furious" has left a huge mark on worldwide audiences with the high-octane adrenaline-pumping actioners. ## It has been one of the most successful Hollywood film franchises with over $6.6 billion worldwide box office across the previous 10 films. Domestically (North America), the franchise has generated $1.86 billion with "Furious 7" (2015) being the highest-grossing film with $353 million domestically and $1.51 billion worldwide. ## The last film in the series "F9: The Fast Saga" (2021) grossed $726 million worldwide, including $173 million domestically during the covid-19 pandemic. With a lot better environment than in 2021, Universal Pictures will be looking to score another $1 billion with "Fast X" and anything below would make them disappointed. ## Meanwhile, the early domestic box office projection for the upcoming movie has been revealed which are similar to the last film. According to Box Office Pro, it is tracking $65 million - $75 million in the domestic opening weekend. "F9" did open with $70 million and the was the biggest opening post-pandemic at that time. ## The agency is estimating "Fast X" to finish its domestic run between $146 million - $186 million. Vin Diesel Wants Robert Downey Jr. In The Next Fast and Furious Movie

Los Angeles, February 10 - Universal Pictures' action thriller "Fast & Furious" is one of the most loved movie franchises in the world. It has featured some of the biggest Hollywood names including Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, John Cena, Charlize Theron, Helen Mirren, Rita Moreno, and Jason Momoa, among others. ## Vin Diesel has played the lead role of Dominic Toretto in the previous films in the franchise and he now wants Robert Downey Jr. to join the Fast & Furious family. Los Angeles, May 2 - A few days ago, "Fast & Furious" director Justin Lin had walked out from the franchise's next installation, "Fast X", which has already commenced filming. While not giving reasons behind his decision, Lin announced that he will, however, remain involved with the project as a producer.## Now, according to nydailynews, Justin Lin quit as director of "Fast & Furious 10" because star Vin Diesel is so difficult. "Diesel shows up late to the set. He doesn't know his lines. And he shows up out of shape. No one is dissing Vin Diesel on the record, but everyone knows", the report said quoting a source. ## Production on "Fast 10" started on April 20, with franchise stars Vin Diesel, Jordana Brewster, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris "Ludacris" Bridges, Nathalie Emmanuel, Sung Kang, and Charlize Theron returning, along with new cast members Brie Larson, Michael Rooker, Jason Momoa, and Daniela Melchior. ## Justin Lin directed five "Fast and Furious" movies, beginning with 2006's "The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift". 'Aquaman' Star Jason Momoa To Fight Vin Diesel In 'Fast & Furious 10'

Los Angeles, January 29 - As "Fast and Furious 10" is gearing up to kick start the shoot soon, Vin Diesel looks to have found his counterpart with whom his Dominic Torreto will go head to head in the two-part finale of this high octane actioner.## According to The Hollywood Reporter, "Aquaman" star Jason Momoa, in the first major casting for "F10", is set to lock horns with Vin Diesel, his role, however, is not confirmed yet. The actor is reportedly in final negotiations to join the ensemble cast in what is being called "Fast & Furious 10" as a working title. ## While the plot details are yet to be known, the THR report says that Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Michelle Rodriguez, and Sung Kang are expected to rejoin the team with Justin Lin returning to direct. Vin Diesel and Lin are producing the film while Universal Pictures working as a distributor. ## Meanwhile, Vin Diesel wanted Dwayne Johnson to join him in the finale of this highly popular action film franchise in the world. Johnson, who appeared in the fifth through eighth films, as well as spinoff Hobbs & Shaw, however, refused to make a comeback over his feud with Diesel.## "Fast & Furious 10" is currently slated for May 19, 2023, release. However, because the script is still a work in progress (according to THR), it is unclear whether Momoa's part is protagonistic or antagonistic in nature, or perhaps even both. Universal Pictures Sets A New Release Date For 'Fast & Furious 10'

Los Angeles, December 15 - The next installment of the "Fast and Furious" film franchise has been delayed by a month to May 2023, by Universal Pictures. The 10th and second last film in the long-running ode to fast cars, physics-defying stunts, and family will hit theaters on May 19, 2023, according to Variety. ## "F10" was earlier slated for April 7, 2023, release. The said date will now be taken by an untitled animated film coming from the studio behind Shrek. The move to May puts Fast 10 right at the start of the summer blockbuster movie season.## Fast 10 will serve as the first half of a two-part finale for the Fast and Furious franchise. It was originally announced for the 2021 release but was pushed back after F9 was delayed to this past summer due to the COVID-19 pandemic. F9 set several pandemic box office records and grossed over $726 million worldwide, becoming the fourth highest-grossing film of 2021.## Justin Lin, who previously directed on Fast 3 through 6, and F9, will return to direct the film for the last time. The movie will also bring back many members of the family, including Vin Diesel's Dom, Michelle Rodriguez's Letty, Sung Kang's Han, and others. ## Meanwhile, Vin Diesel had recently requested Dwayne Johnson, who plays enemy-turned-friend Luke Hobbs in the Fast movies, to come back for the two-part finale F10. The "Fast & Furious 9" star referred to Taiwan as a country during a promotional interview of the F9 movie, according to The Hollywood Reporter. ## Cena made the Taiwan comment in an interview with the Taiwanese broadcaster TVBS where he reportedly said, "Taiwan is the first country that can watch F9".
