Hyderabad, July 1, 2021: The veteran Tamil producer Kalaipuli S. Thanu is all set to join hands with Telugu superstar Allu Arjun for a Tamil-Telugu bilingual movie. The Karnan, Asuran, Thuppakki, and Theri, producer has confirmed that he is planning to bankroll the film with Allu Arjun. ## The national award-winning producer for Asuran (2019) and Vanna Vanna Pookkal (1992) also said that he is in talks with a Tamil director to helm the project and he is hoping that the project would materialize soon. ## Thanu also recalled the time in his series Unmayai Solluven when he helped Allu Arjun's father, Allu Aravind. He said that when Allu Aravind made Maapillai with Rajinikanth in Tamil, he helped him to lock the distribution deals. Later, Thanu also supported Aravind for the release of the dubbed version of Magadheera in Tamil.## If things go ahead as per plans, it will be Allu Arjun's debut in Tamil. He was earlier supposed to make his Tamil debut with a bilingual, directed by Lingusamy. The project was shelved after launching it in a grand ceremony in Chennai. ## Now, according to reports, Murugadoss met Allu Arjun and narrated the script to him. Hyderabad, June 28, 2021: A few days after announcing his Telugu debut with Sekhar Kammula's trilingual movie, Dhanush seems to be getting more interested to work with Telugu directors. The national award-winning actor has reportadly signed his second Telugu movie with Tholi Prema director Venky Atluri. ## According to Deccan Chronicle, producer Suryadevara Nagavamsi has been planning to make a trilingual film for a long time and he has found this potential in Dhanush. Nagavamsi feels a trilingual film would do justice to the script, given Dhanush's popularity in the South and in Bollywood. ## It is said that Dhanush has agreed to work on the Atluri film. It will be Karnan actor's second back-to-back trilingual movie, to be made simultaneously in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, after Sekhar Kammula's film. He already has a Hindi film, Atrangi Re, in the pipeline that is expected to release soon. ## Meanwhile, producer Nagavamsi is already working on the Bollywood remake of Ala Vaikunthapurramloo with Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon, and co-producing the Jersey remake, which stars Shahid Kapoor. Mumbai, June 25, 2021: Bollywood superstar Ajay Devgn has joined with producer Dil Raju for the first time to produce the Hindi remake of the 2021 Telugu blockbuster movie, Naandhi. Naandhi is a crime courtroom drama film, directed by Vijay Kanakamedala. It was released on 19 February this year. ## "Naandhi" follows the life of Surya Prakash (Allari Naresh), an under-trial prisoner who is falsely accused of murder, awaiting judgment. The movie received critical reception and was also a commercially blockbuster. Apart from Allari Naresh, the movie also stars Varalaxmi Sarathkumar in a lead role while Priyadarshi, Harish Uthaman, Vinay Varma, and Praveen play supporting roles. ## The Hindi remake will be produced by Ajay Devgn, Dil Raju, Kuldeep Rathore, and Parag Desai. Prasanth, who is celebrating his birthday today, took to social media and announced his 4th film on his special day. ## Prasanth Varma made a cracker of a debut as a filmmaker with a psychological cross-genre film - Awe! starring Kajal Aggarwal, Nithya Menen, Regina Cassandra, Eesha Rebba, among others. Superstar Karthi's next Tamil film, Sulthan is all set for a grand theatrical release on April 2nd. Since the theatrical business in Tamil Nadu is going through a tough time despite Thalapathy Vijay's Master's blockbuster success, a lot has been depended upon Karthi's Sulthan to give a much-needed boost to the ailing Tamil industry. The movie is undoubtedly the first Tamil summer release and the pre-release buzz around it has been good enough to take a solid opening. ## Sulthan was supposed to release last year during the summer. However, due to the covid-19 pandemic, the makers forced to postpone the release. It was the time when some of the biggies started opting for the direct-to-digital release across languages. Sulthan also got offers, like really tempting ones from leading streaming platforms to skip the theatrical way of releasing the movie but makers opted to wait for the theaters to open. ## Karthi, in a recent interview, revealed that Sulthan is a mixture of comedy and emotions which can only be enjoyed in theaters. "There is an ample dose of comedy and emotions in the movie. They can not be experienced on OTT by sitting alone in a room. The theater will give an experience which will be very enjoyable. It is a tough decision to make and I should thank the producers for waiting until the theaters open", the actor revealed. ## Karthi also talked about Rashmika Mandanna who will be making her Tamil debut with Sulthan. Karthi said that "'Sulthan' is a very good launch for Rashmika in Tamil. She really enjoyed doing her first Tamil film. She will be seen as a village belle. In action films, female leads are usually limited to songs. But 'Sulthan' is different. She has got a bold and angry character". ## Sulthan is directed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan and will simultaneously release in Tamil and Telugu languages. While the movie will not face any hurdle in Tamil, it will have tough competition in Telugu as superstar Nagarjuna's "Wild Dog" is also releasing on the same date which has a clear edge on Sulthan in Telugu. ## Apart from Sulthan, Karthi will next be seen in the Tamil historical drama, Ponniyin Selvan. It is a multi-starrer movie that also stars Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Jayaram, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and Trisha in prominent roles. The trailer of Kangana Ranaut starrer "Thalaivi", which showcased the life journey of Jayalalitha from her struggling acting days to become one of the most powerful female politicians India has ever witnessed, was launched on Kangana's 34th birthday on March 23 on Tuesday. ## Directed by AL Vijay, the film also stars Aravind Swami, Prakash Raj, Jisshu Sengupta, and Bhagyashree, among others. The trailer shows the will of a strong woman who reached the peak of the powers against all odds. ## The trailer shows how Jayalalithaa (essayed by Kangana) was being undermined by men who belong to the entertainment industry and the world of politics. They doubt if she has what it takes to be a politician since she was originally an actor by profession. However, some of the incidents that happened with her during the initial days of politics, made her stronger than ever. ## There are also some glimpses of romantic scenes with MGR (played by Arvind Swami). And when she decided to come to politics, the trailer also shows glimpses of Jayalalithaa campaigning and winning support across the state.
