One of the biggest stars of the Telugu film industry, Nagarjuna Akkineni's popularity sour again as the superstar has created a new record in television ratings with the premiere of Bigg Boss 4 Telugu.## According to a report of the previous week by BARC, the ratings of the premiere episode of the Telugu reality show's 4th season on 6 September 2020 was 18.5, which is the highest among all seasons.## The show hit 20.6 TRP in Hyderabad while the viewership of the premiere also increased by 20 percent as compared to the last year. Nagarjuna took to his Twitter handle and thanked viewers for the record-breaking TRP. The popular Telugu actor and comic villain, Jaya Prakash Reddy has passed away due to a heart attack on Tuesday (September 8) at his residence in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. He was 73. ## The former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and current leader of opposition in the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly, Nara Chandrababu Naidu took to Twitter and paid homage to the versatile actor.## "Telugu cinema and theatre has lost a gem today with the demise of Jayaprakash Reddy Garu. After releasing the motion poster of Vakeel Saab, and announcing a movie with the director Krish, the power star unveiled the first look poster of his upcoming Telugu movie tentatively titled PSPK 28. ## For PSPK 28, the superstar is teaming up with the director Harish Shankar. The duo is collaborating for the second time after producing the biggest hit of Pawan Kalyan's career "Gabbar Singh". One of the most-awaited Telugu movies, "V" starring Nani was recently announced for the OTT release. The coronavirus pandemic has had a lasting impact on the movie as it ditched the conventional theatrical release and will now stream on Amazon Prime Video from September 5. ## Talking about the movie, the Telugu biggie was shot across the five Indian states including Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Goa, Himachal Pradesh, and Maharashtra along with Thailand, making it quite a challenge for the makers. ## "The film was shot in five states and one international location. Our intent was to create a consistent visual experience and color palette for our viewers, generally, you will see inconsistencies in the color palette. From night to day shots we wanted the entire grid to be consistent", director Mohana Krishna said to IANS.## "We, therefore, took a lot of care in the costume designing, in production design, the kind of clothes we want to avoid, the kind of colors we want to avoid, and it had to match with completely different locations".## "Goa is completely warm, and Mumbai is both humid and warm, and Thailand is tropical while Manali which is extremely cold, across these many locations and climates, we wanted to create a visually seamless experience for our viewers", he added. ## It is Nani's 25th film as an actor, in which he plays an antagonist for the first time in his career. Newton actor Rajkummar Rao has been roped in the Hindi remake of Telugu film investigative thriller Hit which starred Vishwak Sen and Ruhani Sharma in the leading roles, its makers announced on Wednesday. The director also said that he had his eyes on Rajkummar Rao and was looking forward to working with him for a long time and now he is elated to work with both Rajkummar and Dil Raju.## "I felt Raj can evoke that kind of response. I have been following Rajkummar’s work ever since I watched Shaitaan. He is a terrific actor and has managed to surprise us every time with his performances.
